So Jarnkrok had 8 SOG today, when is he gonna score? He's got a team high 23 SOG.

Europe today:
Järnkrok 0+1, +/- 0, 8/9 SOG, 1 hit, 67% on faceoffs, 16:22 icetime
Pulkkinen 0+0, +/- 0, 2 shots, 15:23 icetime
Bäckman 0+1, +/- 0, 17:48 icetime
Marchenko 0+0, +/- 0, 1 SOG, 2:57 icetime
Bodin did not play.

Would be nice to now what's the deal with Bodin. Doesn't look good if he can't make the U20 lineup.

Point for Backman, decent drop in ice time. Is Bodin still a forward or is he being moved to defense?

Bäckman's drop in ice time could probably be explained by the fact that they had four PP's yesterday compared to just one in the previous game.

Sproul with three assists last night, being +1. Frk had an assist.

Athanasiou with 2 assists and +2. Ouellet also with two assists and +3.

Sproul has 8 points in 4 games, I think..

Hard to tell since he has missed all of their 5 games.

This makes sense, hope to see him on the PP more as the season continues.

Pretty good points for many of the guys last night. Sproul now with 1+7 in 4 games(leads all OHL d-men by 2 points):
Ouellet 0+2, +3, 1/8 SOG
Hudon 0+2, +1
Frk 0+1, +/- 0, 1/3 SOG, 2 PIM
Sproul 0+3, +1, 2 PIM, 2nd star
Athanasiou 0+2, +2, 3rd star
Paterson 3 GA, 33/36 saves (0.917%)
De Haas 0+0, +/- 0.
Nedomlel 0+0, +/- 0, 9 PIM, fight video:

It was pretty awesome how once Nedomlel got him in a compromising position and started to land some punches the refs stepped in immediately.

Only a matter of time before Jarnkrok starts burying those chances, is he not a natural finisher or does he have a good shot and scoring touch just not going in for him?

Sproul might be playing his way into world junior contention, especially if theres not a lockout and guys like Murray and maybe Murphy arent around

I said that about Bodin as well when we were doing the prospect voting, people seem to think he has more "upside" because he was a late round Andersson pick

Jarnkrok has an above average shot, a bit inaccurate and I guess that shows right now. He's pass-first but he isn't one of those who pass it to death. Especially on PP he likes to walk into the slot from the perimeter and shoot himself.

Has anyone seen De Haas play? I would love to hear some reports on his strengths/weaknesses.

Because 6 points in 8 games while being 6'4" and 210lbs for a defenceman certianly looks good on paper.

What's up with Pulks? 1 lazy assist? 29 PIM? When did he become a goon?

I talked about this earlier.

He started slumping right away, had he's chances but just couldn't bury them. He didn't have a good chemistry with Teräväinen, so they split them up couple of games ago, Pulu now on the third line with guys who don't know what hockey sense is (with little exaggaration).

Frustration has been building up, taking stupid offensive and neutral zone penalties, hooks and slashes, there was also one misconduct there. He had awesome chance from terrific feed by Karlsson on the pp Saturday but managed to whiff it. He was most noticeable when skating up the wing, he's definitely better skater. But maybe trying to do too much by himself. May have something to do with he's linemates.

Is there a list somewhere that list where Red Wings' propects play? I'd be interested of seeing the prospects who play in the QMJHL.

Xavier Ouellet - Blainville-Boisbriand Armada
Martin Frk - Halifax Moosehead
Charles Hudon - Chicoutimi Saguenéens

and who else?

It's Philippe Hudon and he plays for Victoriaville Tigres.

I suggest you visit redwings central for prospect stats and teams.

Sorry, I saw this picture (here) and assumed it was him, but I see it's a different first name.

I appreciate it, I live in the Maritimes, so I only get to watch the Q play.
