Also crazy: The final episode of Dinosaurs. So dark.

How could "dinosaurs" have gone extinct 65,000,000 years ago when the earth is only 10,000 years old?

Check out the final episode of ALF too. It ended with the government agents surrounding ALF and the credits rolling. There was supposed to be another season but it never happened so we basically get the implication that ALF was captured and is being dissected in some secret government facility.

This is the last few minutes of Dinosaurs, which for every other episode was a kid's show and parody of other sitcoms. Essentially Earl was put in charge and caused nuclear winter.
