Welcome back. I was wondering where you went. I guess we don't see you when we are winning? I fully expected them to lose this game after this emotional past series.
People seem to forget that I do show up when we're winning mainly cause i'm more obnoxious when we lose... I think I like spammed on youtube video several times on huge winning streaks. I can be positive... I just happened to be busy when we were winning.
Tigers will win tonight and pull even with Sox ,,,,,,, The Twins put a 7 spot on board
Sox young pitchers have dead arm at this point , Liriano is mostly a trainwreck (Guy has great stuff by my god he walks everyone) , Peavy is up and down and our #5 spot is being held down by a collection of rookies
Gavin Floyd being gone is big hit ,, He wasn't pitching well but he allowed Sox to have a 6 man rotaiton which was keeping the dead arm from becoming issue
Well at least the Sox are going to lose. Unfortunately the Tigers have proven that they are incapable of winning on the road so we will know by the end of next week if the Tigers are making the playoffs.
Bottom of the 9th has been unwatchable. Let's see if Delmon Young can save the day..............
Nope. Indians own the Tigers like the Tigers own the White Sox. We can expect two/three more losses in Cleveland.

Nah. The division will come down to the last week or two of the season. You'll have plenty more than a week to vent your frustrations over important games
3 out of 4 in Chicago gets them back to even...can't lose this series and give away ground in the last head-to-head with the Sox. Only 16 games left after this series.
Monday: Porcello vs. Quintana
Tuesday: Fister vs. Peavy
Wednesday: Scherzer vs. Liriano
Thursday: Verlander vs. Sale

Yeah, winning 3 gets them back to even, gives them some momentum, and imo puts them back in the driver's seat. Splitting the series would stink, but let's them hang around and still have a decent chance. Losing this series will be a tough pill to swallow. They'll be 4 or 6 games back with only 19 remaining. That would be pretty tough.
I'll be at Wednesday's and Thursday's games. I'll be sure to heckle AJ.
At least we can stop talking about the wild card - the Central is only going to send one team to the playoffs.
I missed the beginning of the comments, but I swear I heard the announcers during the Lions game today talking about how Stafford, being a big baseball fan, said the Tigers best chance of making the playoffs was getting a wild card spot. Wonder what his reasoning is. To win the Central, the Tigers need to make up 2 games and leap 1 team. To get a wild card spot, they must make up 4.5 games and leap 3 teams. Seems the former is much easier than the latter.
The Tigers don't need to sweep the series. They are two games back with 19 to go, and all of the Sox pitching arms are imploding. The Sox won't be pulling away unless they win this series. I expect the Tigers to take 3 of 4 though, and that puts them in the driver's seat.

And then the Tigers get drunk again and drive into another wall. I hear Cleveland has very nice highway median's.
Sorry Jaster, but the Tigers cannot consistently win on the road. Going 5-5 was going to be a good road trip before they started the series against the Angel's and they got swept with Jared Weaver sitting out.
Now they face Chicago and after that go to Cleveland where the Indians absolutely own the Tigers this season.
