The answer is we all show up. Thatís right, emails and online petitions you can ignore. Phone calls you can hang up on. But people, face-to-face with you, that is a little more difficult to do.
On Saturday, September 15th, if there is no agreement, we all Occupy the NHL. If you live in or around an NHL city, just show up at the arena and hang out for the day.
Show up with your sticks, mitts, pads, and nets. If the NHL doesnít want to start playing on the 15th, then we will.
We are the fans of the game and we want are hockey. We will show both the NHL and the NHLPA what the game is about. The game is about fun. The game is about passion. The game is about that first time you open that Christmas present and it get your first stick.
As the above video says, the game isnít about money; itís about the moments.
ON SEPTEMBER 15TH, LETS ALL MAKE ANOTHER MOMENT TOGETHER!!!!
And hopefully that will remind the millionaires and billionaires what the game is about and we can get back to watching the best game on earth, with the best players on earth.
So my question at the top of the blog was, what are you willing to do?
If the answer is play hockey on September 15th, then I think a solution will be just around the corner.
Are you willing to play hockey to bring hockey back?
Are you up for Occupying the NHL on Sept. 15th?
