How do Sask, Cal and BC find such great QBs every few years and we can't find one ever!

Hope the Goldeyes have some sort of celly for this win, parade might be much or maybe not, we don't win often in this city.
We need some sort of party.

Milt Stegall hasn't either, but he's still one of the best receivers in CFL history.

It's not like he played for an outstanding team after the blue. Hamilton was terrible until he got there.

Winnipeg has some great receivers in Mathews, Edwards and Watson. Imagine what a guy like Glenn could do with that core.

Did you see the guys laughing behind Burke? I guess losing 44-3 is funny.

Oh I know.

I really like the look of Brink in this game. Had good accuracy and had a very good release. It sucked that the receiving core took s night off. Could have made it interesting.

Ive said it before and ill say it again. Brink is our guy of the future, he has showed he has the tools. He just needs playing time to put it together.

On TSN's highlight package they just showed a guy in the crowd wearing a HUGE paper bag on his head and with a Labbat's Blue in hand.

As far as I'm concerned the kid showed alot of promise. Put together a few very good drives and came close to a few TD's. Perfectly thrown but the reciever just couldnt bring it in.

I would definitely say that had our receivers been playing as good as the can play...we would have been right in this ball game. Momentum counts for alot in football.

I disagree. I've seen enough of Brink. He's got nuthin'. Nor does Elliott.

I hope Buck can last more than a couple of quarters next week.

He was the only bright spot of the game.

I could be wrong but sully might have been saying that if Kevin Glenn doesn't break his arm in the divisional final against Toronto we win the 2007 Grey Cup against Sasky and he has his Grey Cup ring. Just bad luck.

Glenn's a good QB, not mediocre. What has prevented him from being a great or elite quarterback is his consistency. Good one game, average the next. Also a few more bad decisions than one would expect from a veteran QB. ie. That game a little over a month ago where he threw to the flats and had the pass intercepted by the defensive back for a TD that cost Calgary a game. However, Glenn extends drives (most notably of the methodical, time-consuming variety) that actually results in tds and fgs on a fairly consistent basis, something that has been lacking on this club since he left. He is the best QB we have had since Khari's rapid descent.

As for the game, yeesh. Less said the better. At least Palardy's kickoffs were alright.

Players have completely given up. I would say the team is playing at 75% intensity. It is really sad.

Trouble is in an 8 team league there are only so many players we can trade.

I say offer the world to Wally Buono after the season and see if he can fix this mess.

Part of the problem with this team in developing QBS is they have no patience in developing QBs.

Take a look at Danny McManus first 3 years as a Bomber. More INTs than TDs, pass completion % less than 50% and QB rating of 70 (one season in the 50s). He turned out to be a pretty good QB.

Elliott has had some bad games, but you should not give up that easily on him. Guy has started 6 games in his career, hardly an adequate sample size to determine if he has the goods or not.

With that being said, I wouldn't mind if they started Buck next game. Doesn't necessarily hurt for Elliott to watch from the sidelines for a bit.
