Unfortunately, it was the same as it's NHL counterpart.

I just hit 90 on the mage, so I'm pretty much full greens. Kipper's hunter partner pretty much one shot me.

Damn Kipper. Even in WoW he finds a way to screw with us edmonton folk.

The itch is starting to itch again. Bummer my computer is very behind in power and cannot feasibly play WoW anymore without the graphics being a bare minimum. Laptops without a decent video card FTL.

Ah well, It's probably for the best that I don't get back into this game.

I can play WOW (even raid in 10m, 25m is sketchy) on my 2 year old laptop (no video card) on low settings with pretty much no performance issue. Just something to think about.

Having a hard time dealing with H Bladelord on our first night of progression on him, tanks keep dropping like rocks

My comeback has been put on hold due to Path of Exile sucking out my soul... Too bad to because I had been enjoying MoP more than I had imagined I would.

Yea, I can play as well. It's just the new instances and raids were such a drain on my ability to play the game.

Framerate would drop to below 5fps in any instance battle most of the time.

Even went through all the effort of updating the video card in it and allocating most of my computer power to make sure it ran at full efficiency.

All's well. I still have Skyrim, Borderlands 2 and Dark Souls to beat in between COD seshs.

Almost impossible to do both at the same time

Hey, could be worse.

Sam Raimi was originally going to direct it.

I own several of the books, but haven't read more than a few pages. They're pretty bad.

I'll definitely see it no matter who's in it and who directed it.

I will too.

I'm just glad Raimi isn't directing it.

Probably would have cast Tobey McGuire as Thrall or some ****.

A super mega death arena, with spikes and dragons and trapdoors and paladins and.... oh wait, that'd make it unbalanced.

The lore is simply amazing, granted I have never read the books and won't pay to see the movie but the story is great.

Yeah, it's pretty cool.

Especially if you've played through all the RTS games too.

If it was by Knaak, I could understand.

I'm way more into the books written by Christie Golden, the Arthas novel was absolutely amazing.

Herself and Chris Metzen are supposed to be good reads, no time to read though.

I think most of the ones I own are by Knaak. I did really enjoy the first few chapters of Rise of the Horde by Golden, but still haven't finished. I mostly just pick them up when I see them for cheap at my local bookstore so I can fill my bookshelf.

I read the Golden one back in Cata (right before Dragon Soul, in terms of game lore timeline). It was average; the plot was decent but I did not enjoy her writing style a bit. YMMV.

wow subscriptions down to 9.6 million people. man on MMO champion the amount of hate boggles my mind. so it lost 500k subscribers. Far less then when cata was out. other mmos don't even have 1 million for a monthly cost.

I still think the best book is The Last Guardian.

that's kind of the funny thing. Everyone is yelling that the game is dead and such and it's still got ~9.6 million people playing a subscription based MMO. lol

I've been on a minor break. Kinda just waiting for the next patch which is looking like another month or so.

I've only read the first three Warcraft books. The one about Khadgar was pretty good, but overall none compelled me to read more. I did think the first Starcraft book was really well done (granted the characters from Starcraft are without a doubt the strongest in Blizzard's deck of cards). Are there any more than compare with it?

When Cata was out the subs dropped to under 9 million at one point. 8.5 or something from what I recall. So this is a huge step in the right direction. any other mmo would kill for these numbers. rift makes a profit with under 1 million subs.
