I'm a Jets fan and it sucks to see...this team always cares more about media attention and selling jerseys than actual football. The Giants play in the same market and make it work no problem.

I was a big Rex guy in 2009, I loved how breathed confidence and had major faith in his players. Now with all the empty promises and him still talking big about a team that has zero offense or composure (on and off the field), it's just time to stop and focus on football.

Can't see the Jets going far this year, So looks like my streak will keep going.

Habs haven't won in 20 Years (1993)
Arsenal haven't won in 8 Years. (2005)
The Jets haven't won the Superbowl in 45. (1968)

At least nobody can call me a Glory Hunting Bandwaggoner .

If anything, I'm hoping that the D stands on their head this year, and Sanchez shows some improvement in his decision making. Hopefully a new offensive coordinator helps him progress, instead of having him walk in circles as he did under Schottenheimer. I also think we really need a "Big Play" RB. I know Rex has his Pound and Ground mentality, and yes Shonn Greene can get some big gains from time to time, but I PERSONALLY would prefer to have an explosive, shifty, big play type of RB.

So many Jets Fans throughout the internet right now rubbing it in the faces of the Giants this week.

Damn Bills didn't do us any favors at all in Week 1.

Still, the Jets are going nowhere this season.

How exactly does that work? I mean the Giant fans just have to post a pic of Last Feb to win any argument

Of course, which it is why it is so silly of those to do so, especially since the giants have won how many Superbowls since the Jets last won theirs?

Excatly!

Also why I don't get Canucks fans bragging to Blackhawks fans about beating them in 2011.

I hate the Jets with a furious passion

but i have to give credit where its due....even if the Bills are a mess and played terrible, its not easy to absolutely dominate a team like that in the NFL

good teams beat teams they're supposed to beat, so good job by the Jets...however, i hope its their last win of the season

Sanchez actually had a good game yesterday, but we all know the real reason they won was because of Tebow's 5 carries for 11 yards.

Lol at Scott Chandler running over Ryan then Ryan's reaction too.

Peter King managed to devote multiple sections (even if it was just a few lines) of his Monday Morning Quarterback recap of yesterday for SI to Tebow. I guess 5 carries for 11 yards and grabbing a kickoff on special teams merits that kind of coverage though.

Jets had a very good week one. Not going to try to deny that.

Let's see how weeks two through seventeen go, though.

According to my man Skip Bayless, Timmy might have been nursing some sort of back injury as he was seen stretching his back several times. I swear he said this on 1st Take! And he did not seem overly impressed with the performance of The Sanchize.

I'm surprised he didn't say something along the lines of "Had he not recovered the onside kick to ice it, Buffalo could've come back to win." or "Tebow brought his winning presence to the Jets"

That's incredible. Could you imagine how the face of the NFL would have changed if Marino was a Jet for all those years?

New York Jets 1st round selection...fullback...

Random guy in crowd: ''OH NO!''

Roger Vick of Texas A & M!

Berman: ''aaaah''

*shot of guy with Cowboy cap laughing*

The grandpa and grandma laughing at the Lageman pick is pretty awesome too, with the stunned guy with horrible posture wondering WTF just happened in front of them.

So Bart Scott and reporter Dan Leberfeld had to be separated in the locker room.

Quote:
Bart Scott just had to be separated from reporter Dan Leberfeld in the locker room. Bizarre scene.
Quote:
Incident triggered by Leberfeld taking a phone pic of Scott, who responded by telling him to “get a life.” Threats & puffed chests ensued.
Quote:
Scott threatened to punch Leberfeld, who said, “Yeah, and I’ll sue you!” Scott responded: “I don’t care!”
Quote:
Jets PR guy Bruce Speight stepped in front of Scott. Only thing that seemed to prevent fisticuffs.
Quote:
I'm told this was the second time just this week Leberfeld had provoked Scott by taking a picture of him walking with a female reporter.
IIRC, the reporter and Bart have a history, but the reason here is hardly one to cause a scene over imo.
