It's no coincidence that Springsteen, McCartney, and The Who had 3 of the best halftime shows in the 2000's. Even Tom Petty, American rock legend, contributed to a great show. The last 3 shows (if you include this Beyonce one) will have been abominations. The one last year was so bad I didn't bother watching. The one before last year was awful. The NFL has got to go back to what works, because no one cares about these new stars.

We are on the way to having Minaj do the half-time show next year, just to cater to the youth. Forget that
I really never cared about the half time show and usually just have it on in the background but wasn't Minaj there last year?

Miami & San Fran are the 2 finalists for Super Bowl 50 in 2016. The loser of that bid will compete for the 2017 game against Houston.

http://blogs.sacbee.com/49ers/archiv...er-bowl-l.html

My gut feeling is that San Fran will get it because of the new stadium. If so, Miami better get #51.

Nice.

I don't listen to Beyonce and I usually don't even pay attention to the halftime show but she'll probably put on a better show than these decrepit 70 year old rockers. Thank God that's coming to an end.

Those "decrepit 70 year old rockers" would sound better than the auto-tuned **** these new-age artists put out today. Garbage halftime show.

Bring back Prince.

To be fair, it's not like Beyonce is really that new, she's been around for quite some time. Her first solo album was about 10 years ago, and of course Destiny's Child was around before that.

I prefer rock because that's the music I like. I'd love to see RHCP, or the Foos out there. But we'll see...Beyonce could put on a decent show...or it could be another Black-Eyed Peas/Madonna esque disaster. But she's talented enough that there is a chance of it being all right.

Or maybe a Janet Jackson-esque wardrobe malfunction.

I dont know who was worse at drafting, Jerry Angelo or Dale Tallon. How many Angelo picks are left?

RT Gabe Carimi (2011 1st round)
DT Stephen Paea (2011 2nd round)
SS Chris Conte (2011 3rd round)
FS Major Wright (2010 3rd round)
DE Corey Wootton (2010 4th round)
LT J'Marcus Webb (2010 7th round)
DT Henry Melton (2009 4th round)
WR Johnny Knox (2009 5th round)
RG Lance Louis (2009 7th round)
RB Matt Forte (2008 2nd round)
WR Earl Bennett (2008 3rd round)
FS/SS Craig Steltz (2008 4th round)
CB Zack Bowman (2008 5th round)
TE Kellen Davis (2008 5th round)
WR Devin Hester (2006 2nd round)
CB Charles Tillman (2003 2nd round)
LB Lance Briggs (2003 3rd round)

Some good players in there but problem with Angelo is he absolutely blew it in 1st rounds and had some laughable screwups (Drafting DE in 2nd who couldn't pass a physical because of knee ,, The laughable mistake with Ravens at draft)

Angelo 1st rounders

2001 - WR David Terrell (8th) = Absolute bust
2002 - T Marc Colombo (29th) = Injury prone failed in Chicago
2003 - DE Michael Haynes (14th) = Absolute bust
2003 - QB Rex Grossman (22nd) = Bust ,, 1 ok year as #1 that is it
2004 - DT Tommie Harris (14th) = Star player who's body failed him
2005 - RB Cedric Benson (4th) = Absolute failure and a cancer in lockeroom
2007 - TE Greg Olsen (31st) = Looked promising ,, Angelo traded him for no good reason
2008 - T Chris Williams (14th) = Absolute bust
2011 - T Gabe Carimi (29th) = Too early to call

Thanks for the list. I havent kept track of the NFL and the Bears at all past years since I stopped playing FF. I knew Angelo had a bad record with 1st rounders and especially with o-linemen. Hope at least Carmini works out.

Man, I remember watching David Terrell and Drew Henson at Michigan thinking they would be studs...they sucked.

Was Terrell that bad. The Bears QB situation has been a joke for the past few decades. Cutler has been the only player resembling a legitimate NFL qb for as long I remember.

He was..from what I remember he dominated at the college level with his talent but never refined his route running and couldn't seperate from NFL db's

Yeah he was that bad

Bears had Jim Miller for 2 of his years and Miller was decent QB ,, Marty Booker was 1K WR and even Dez White was productive

Terrell was cancer in lockerroom and had numerous run ins with the law off field

Dont forget this is same guy who said that TO and Moss weren't better WR then him (And that statement was made after he was cut by Bears and barely played in Denver)

The Chiefs and wide receiver Dwayne Bowe weren’t able to come to agreement on a long-term deal this offseason, leaving Bowe to play out the year under the franchise tag before taking another whack at an extension.

Or not. Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports reports that Bowe wants out of Kansas City “very badly.” With the Chiefs sputtering and headed toward an offseason of changes if that doesn’t change, that could make him a trade target before the trade deadline. When coming up with teams that might be interested, the Dolphins would be near the top of the list.

My favorite Dwayne Bowe moment was that game against the Steelers when he called for the ball from Tyler Palko and then completely bailed on getting hit, so it was picked off.
