Are we playing their 68th string?

Funny to see the Buffalo media trashing postgame comments from the Bills...even though the game isn't over yet and said comments haven't happened.

Pathetic journalism.

Here's my breakdown:

G:
--CJ Spiller. Granted, Glenn got away with a hold on his first huge scamper, and the rest was in garbage time, but kid's got game. Except for the fumble, although I think it was incomplete.
--Potter. He did his job. Though he might have too strong a leg for the onside. I do question why you don't also put Lindell out there, he has onside experience and when you have two kickers you have the option to go to both the strong side and the weak side, and can keep the other team guessing.
--Chandler played a good game.
--Run defense. Yeah, I know Greene got his yards on that final drive, but by and large they kept the Jets contained. Through 20 rushes, Greene had 64 yards and Tebow was a non-factor. I'll take that any day.

B:
--Stupid penalties. False starts, delay of game...stupid.

U:
--Everything else.
The front 4 did not get any pressure, yet we saw no blitzes
The secondary was chewed up badly.
3rd down defense. It exists. Learn it.
The punt coverage...this is why Ruvell Martin is on the team, right?
Fitz. No explanation required
Injury to Jackson and Nelson.
Coaching. Absolute ****fest from the coaches.

Welp. This was a game they needed to have IMO. But same old Bills.

Time for my annual "after the first game" prediction. I don't watch, listen to, or read about football. Last year my prediction was surprisingly correct. Yes, even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in awhile

Buffalo Bills regular season record for the 2012 season ... 8-8

Only thing I partially disagree with was the front four. It is hard to get to the QB when he was throwing it as fast as he was. I will concede that there wasn't a big push when Sanchez took a while to throw.

it seemed like 90% of sanchez's passes were three steps and gone...mostly in the 5-10 yard range.

I'm loving the "preseason doesn't mean anything" sarcasm that's being tossed around here. You guys realize the same thing is being said by Jets fans now minus the sarcasm, right?

Here's to 16 more weeks of whining. We're off to a great start.

Fitztragic and McLovin were in mid-season form today. What a debacle.

They were stunningly bad, even for them.

Still, 11-5 isn't yet mathematically impossible. My hopes remain

Even if Fitz plays solid football the rest of this season we'll be crippled by our partly young and partly terrible secondary. We're in for some trouble unless several positions on this team get a lot better, and fast (WR, DB, QB).

I feel confident in saying that this will be the worst game of the year.

This was a perfect ****storm. It's not going to happen again, and this team will still contend for a spot.

Fitz threw 3 picks today... And the younger players need to get their stuff together

I have no doubt that Williams and Gilmore will improve as the season goes on. Hopefully sooner than later. CB is a tough position for a young player to immediately do well at, there are going to be lots of growing pains with them.

Right now it is clear we need help at QB, LB, and WR.

It was obvious they weren't ready to play and when they finally started to find their groove in the 2nd half it was too late. That's on the coaching staff.

Also I don't recall hearing Cordy Glenn's name once(other then at the beginning of the game). That's a good thing.

They found their groove when the Jets stopped caring.
