Slovan won against Barys Astana 4:2 today. That makes four wins in a row.

And referees really sucked today

These referees made Daniel Konc, Extraliga's persona non grata, look like a pure professional...
Anyway great performances by Slovan and I'm really happy for youngsters like Daňo, Mikúš, Hudáček, Šťastný, Štajnoch, Janus etc.

BTW Datsyuk IS the legend

I never saw a pair of referees pushing a team so hard to equalize the score, like it happened today with Barys. 48-17 in penalty minutes against the winning team, enough said. Ironically, Slovan scored 2 short-handed goals during those powerplays. Along with Traktor's game, it was a day for short-handed goals in the KHL.

lol, that was nice.

but generally I can not complain about referees in KHL so far.
They were considering 2-3 (non)goal situations in last 3 games and all decisions were in favor of Slovan.

It's not because referees are rooting for Barys (or any other team), it's because some of them can be very inconsistent in the K. Get used to it.

They were extremely consistent last night in favour of Barys, so that's not it.

Please someone tell me how could Lipiansky get for this game misconduct penalty? If it's just me that I don't know the rules well, I'll be glad to learn.

It was waved off because the referee had blown the whistle, which it would be impossible to deny given the video soundtrack. There was no decision to be made by the referee at that point.

you are blaming refs not me. You said "pushing a team so hard to equalize the score", they had ideal chance to do it in this situation.

high sticking, dengerous one, not accidental. All depends on hurt/demage caused by high sticking AND how dangerous it is. Ref can penalize a player by 2 min, 2+2, 5+ AUTOMATICAL game misconduct penalty. Ref though it is for 5min, so he HAD NO option, he HAD TO give Lipiansky game misconduct penalty. KHL rules are different, especially in case of penalty shot, fights (agressor or not) and attack to head.

Sorry vorky, but how is that not accidental? His stick went high because he lost balance.

About damage...I don't know but Solarev finished the game.

They're yet to be introduced to the Weisfeld theorem.

Nope. They had no chance of knowing the puck would end up in the net a couple of seconds later.

maybe I was not clear enough. it is pointless to discuss with BS fans to be honest. You wrote "referees pushing a team so hard to equalize the score" Refs wanted to help Barys as you think, so why did they blow the whistle? They had ideal chance to wait ... and wait .. until Barys scored. Your theory failed.

I agree. I would be totally okay with two minute penalty.
