Rangers at Capitals (11/25/2011): Ruslan Fedotenko scored twice, Ryan Callahan had three assists and rookie Carl Hagelin made his Rangers debut as New York broke a two-game losing streak with a 6-3 win over Washington.

Wednesday, September 26 – 8:00 p.m.

Rangers at Sabres (12/10/2011): In Carl Hagelin’s breakout game, the rookie put two into the net, both assisted by Michael Del Zotto, to lead the Rangers to a 4-1 win in Buffalo – the 2,500th regular season win in Rangers franchise history.

I'll be watching a lot of these. Hopefully MSG will broadcast Wolf Pack games during the lockout, too.

Im guessing the general reaction will be "Oh well, seeing some hockey is better than nothing." Personally, it just makes me more upset about the whole situation.

Im supposed to be thankful that I get to watch some hockey where the outcome was determined months ago?

No offense meant to anyone, but.....

Why in the world would you watch? The owners have locked out the players and I have read and heard so many fans wonder "What can we do"?

If fans are willing to tune in to watch MSG tapes of regular season games played last year then this proves the point to the owners that they can do basically anything to us and we'll take it.

I wouldn't expect low ratings for these shows to have any impact whatsoever on negotiations, but this would be "exhibit A" of why the owners feel emboldened to
take the fans for granted.

They don't care if you watch reruns--the owners care if you pay for tickets when the lockout is over. MSG is just filling empty air time.
