I'm 40% in but I think I'm going to start over tomorrow. I haven't been able to just sit down, play for a couple of hours straight and just soke everything in. Not happy with my playthrough so far... I'll restart tomorrow and only play when I can dedicate my full attention to it.

Just a note, from what I hear (and am now seeing) is that the percentages are kind of messed up. The start of the game has the percent go up much quicker than later.

Anyways, just had the first time skip. Really ****ing messed up...

Hmmm.... I'm at the part where we just left Bill's town and

got ambushed by some thugs.

Am I still at the early stages? If so, starting over won't be worth it.

I had no idea that the FireFly pendants were named after fans who won a contest. That's pretty awesome.

Percentages are definitely ****ed up. I think I've advanced 10% over the past 4 hours of play.

Mind you I'm a meticulous check-everything type of gamer, but I was still over 30% after the first 4 hours. I think it's charting in comparison to the chapters within the game and the chapters get longer and longer as things go on.

So far things have been amazing. Hopefully this game gets the recognition it deserves, because everything is executed so well. Love the voice actors they chose, can't think of a single one that hasn't nailed their part thus far. Ashley Johnson definitely seems like she was perfect for the role of Ellie.

Loved it, especially the ending.

**** them. The whole basis of humanity is our relationship and loyalty to one another. The actions of those who cross those lines, including Joel, are on them - not the infected. Tess was right, they were terrible people, but a good person would find another way.

Saving her the most selfish and most human thing he had done. I respect that. Would have despised an ending where he let them kill her.

Don't shoot them, use molitovs or the flamethrower (if you're far enough).

those work well, or 2 bombs once you get the upgrade manual for it works very well too. I ended up taking down 2 of them with 2 bombs and then I needed a molotov to finish the other one off. But they didn't even even get close to me.

Awful gunplay and terrible story aside I really liked this game. But I still have the same problem I have with all Naughy Dog games which is the fact that they make the character turn to senseless violence which more or less negates any type of story progress or character development.

Great game though, wish I would of rented it from Redbox.

I think i'm at 76% through now?

Still haven't formulated my opinion on it but it's not a bad game by any means.

Any thoughts on the multiplayer components? That's what will make my buy or not buy decision.

It seems as if every single store in Toronto is sold out of this game.

MP is pretty ****ing awesome if you have a team that communicates well and stays together. Honestly, it's one of the most intense MP experiences I've had in a long time.

Played some last night with Natey and a friend of mine. Nothing like finishing a match when you and someone else (Natey) rush the last guy and beat the **** out of him with your bare hands .

Well, you're at the point where it really gets good. Restarting from there will only make you slog through the worst bit of the game.

If you're looking to pick it up try stores that people wouldn't think of for video games. I went on a search for it yesterday here and every Future shop/ Walmart/ BestBuy/ Eb games was all sold out. I went to Toys R Us and they had a shelf completely full of copies. The guy at the cash told me that nobody ever thinks about them for new releases, but they get them all at launch. I went grocery shopping later on and Loblaws had a bunch of copies as well.

Put this way;

By yourself? The multiplayer is terrible, unless you're really lucky and find a good team.

With friends? Incredible. The sense of having to work together is amazing.

With friends versus another group of friends = best multiplayer I've ever experienced. It's so tactical and one wrong move could **** over your entire team.

So I'm maybe about 3 hours in. I'm stuck on a level, it where Joel and Ellee are swimming through the underwater subway system. I made it to the end of the tunnel and she's standing on one side of the water while I have try and grab this ladder on the other side.

Triangle pops up on the ladder and then theres dialogue about maybe using the ladder, but then the triangle disappears and then I stuck not knowing what to do. Any help?
