I agree. Things looked better late in the third when they broke up Gus and Tatar. The defense looked bad all night. To a man they had problems making plays with the puck. I hate Peoria. I think they are a ******* child of the 90s Devils.

Dang, Griffins have lost their scoring touch...nothing in 1.5 games.

Oh, and fyi for those that don't know...take a look at my profile, might help out on getting some visuals

I don't understand how are they going to use these guys, because the only rotation we can do without injuries is to keep Nyquist/Brunner up and/or send them down and bring Tatar/Andersson up. And in this scenario I presume Emmerton is waived and Eaves is on LTIR. Then we have these 14 forwards to be rotated + Andersson/Tatar.

We have the bodies, but the NHL waiver system is too stupid and restrictive for sensible use.

Franzen - Zetterberg - Brunner
Bertuzzi - Datsyuk - Nyquist
Cleary - Filppula - Samuelsson
Abdelkader - Helm - Tootoo
Miller - Emmerton - Mursak
Tatar - Andersson - Eaves

Kronwall - Ericsson
Quincey - White
Colaiacovo - Smith
Kindl - Lashoff
Almquist

Howard
Gustavsson
MacDonald

Yes, we have some bodies.

Emmerton is waived and Eaves is on LTIR.
This is the best lineup I've seen posted.

Putting fil on the third line is a waste of his talent, especially when we have an amazing third line center in helm, putting Pavel with a rookie and Bertuzzi is terrible for Datsyuk.

The Griffins get shutout once again, their offense has disappeared.

I'm not convinced Bertuzzi will be a top 6 forward by the time this lockout is over, and he's admitted as much himself. I think he might retire.

Emmerton still waived. I only listed players who would be on the actual NHL roster and not playing in the AHL. I think Tatar, Lashoff, and McCollum (I don't think they'd call up an AHL rookie goaltender) are the first callups.

I haven't watched any AHL-games, but the stats aren't exactly giving any "wow-factor".

Honestly, hopefully a new one on Wednesday. Blashill needs to do something, if he wants to keep the new Eurotwins (Tatar and Nyquist) together than Andersson needs to switch with Sheahan. Try something new, this has been going on for really the last three weeks it just came out in a bigger way this weekend.

This is the first season I've gotten to follow the Griffins, and I have to say it's been pretty entertaining.

- I don't know what Smith is doing, but he's looked fairly brutal the past couple of games. You can see the skill, but it's like he just doesn't care.

- I think Lashoff is the perfect replacement for Stuart, and I really hope he gets a shot sooner rather than later.

- Sheahan looks like a Maltby type, and you can see that he's got some decent offensive skills hidden in there.

- I agree that Pare needs to get a call-up. He might not be very big, but he's got great offensive instincts and can finish.

- Despite the recent slump, Tatar and Nyquist are ridiculous. They just ooze stupid amounts of skill.

- Where did Billins come from (Ferris State, I know, but waaaaay off the radar)? Kid's got some game... looks very Rafalski-like.

... but I'm sure you guys already know all of this.

I see some similarities but Sheahan REALLY needs to work on faceoffs to be anywhere near Stoll.

True although in my opinion he is already the best faceoff guy in Grand Rapids, man are they terrible at those.

Yeah he's pretty average at best, but everyone else sucks...

Wishful thinking... The next ECHL game for the Walleye is on December 28th. My guess is they have some sort of holiday break. Only thing surprising is that Coetzee's name wasn't listed with them.

Maybe Coetzee requested the time off to visit family or attend personal issues? I can't imagine they just decided not to recall him considering how badly they need offense and how he's by far the best offensive player of the bunch.

Glendening in the lineup tonight, excited to see him play. Good defensive player and he is scoring a bunch in the ECHL. Also sounds like Nestrasil might be in, Blashill said he is one of the most improved players in the entire organization. They said he is night and day from where he was a year ago in terms of how he plays a total game not just offense. Very kind words leading in, sounds like he will play on the third line.

Aubry carrying an injury and won't play. Raedeke and Parkes are the normals that are scratched. Fournier and Nicastro as usual the D-man sitting on the sidelines.

Yes according to Blashill. I put what I could make out as far as lineups being announced over the PA during pregame, sounds like they are in.
