Glendening is playing center, remember saying this summer I thought he could. Wins the faceoff, good plays on the forecheck by Callahan and Grant turn the puckover and he scores on a goal mouth scramble.

Gus then blew a glorious chance trying to make 2-0 by being way too cute.

You're not gonna break a scoring slump by passing on a breakaway..

Did nyquist really just do a drop pass on a breakaway? , i was listening to the audio but not watching, good news is he has been real dangerous in his first two shifts this game.

I don't know what was worse, I want to say just the initial drop pass, but then Tatar tried feeding him back beneath the circles as he peeled off for a horrible angle shot. Both of them should have shot the puck and I honestly have no idea after the drop pass how Tatar doesn't rip that between the circles. His was almost worse at least Nyquist's pass set up a scoring chance Tatar's was an even worse decision.

Yeah they're trying to be way too fancy and thats why they are failing to score. They've had tons of scoring chances during this mini-slump but they always make it way more complicated then it needs to be.

Bottom two lines bringing it tonight. Still think the first two lines should be shuffled although decent pressure out of the first line tonight.

Oh ya, unless Mrazek is on his game, they obviously didn't show the goal by the Amerks but it didn't sound like Mrazek had a chance.

Tatar - Andersson - Nyquist
Jurco - Sheahan - Pare
Hoggan - Ferraro - Nestrasil
Grant - Glendening - Callahan

Parkes, Aubry, Raedeke out

Paetsch - Smith
Almquist - Lashoff

Is Nicastro still injured?

We should just call him Gustav "drop pass" Nyquist.

I don't see why Sheahan is playing 2C over Ferarro... the 2nd line is pretty quiet for the talent they have on the Wings. Jurco - Ferraro - Pare would be way better than what they have out there right now IMO.

The way I see it they're 2a and 2b anyway. And generally the better line of the night gets more time. Although I do think Ferraro and Pare should play together, like they do on the 2nd PP.

The big boys finally get one. Andersson (Billins, Nyquist)

Grant follows it up with a pretty good fight.

Andersson tip-in goal from Billins & Nyquist.

Grant finally fights someone right afterwards.

Glendening has been really impressive.

Glendening looks fantastic tonight, he and Callahan have some good chemistry and he is a very slick passer, seems to have great vision.

Sheahan just saved Smith twice, he is so good in his own end.
