Oh, and weekend:

Friday: work, pack, drive to O.P.
Saturday: Buffalo Museum of Science in the morning, lunch, see relatives, work on friend's laptop, xbox, hopefully.
Sunday: back to Cortland, daughter's swim class at 3, make lunches, get kids to bed
Not having a studio album in 14 years can do that to a band....

Weekend plans?

I'm debating shooting up to Toronto after work to watch my Red Sox lose to the Jays. Other than that, gotta get the pool closed, so that's tomorrow's project, along with other assorted yardwork.

(Sorta related, I'm really digging seeing someone who is totally cool with the fact that I might just go drive 90 minutes to watch a baseball game without her. Then again, she's a Yankees fan, so it makes sense why she doesn't want to go. :p )

This is actually one of the downsides of my brother buying his own home and moving out. We used to have epic NHL marathons, which his girlfriend loved of course.

I'm too cheap to pay for XBL Gold, so now I have to drive 70 blocks to go whoop him.

First world problems.

Well... I'm in line for management in the next year or two... I've been unofficially told to do what I want with her but not to date her. As long as it doesn't go Facebook official I should be fine.

This has been a hell of a week. I'm planning on sleeping in until 8:30 (!), relaxing, drinking some beer.

While my wife enjoyed Chef's takeout at a baby shower, my son and I tried that Five Guys burger joint for the first time on Wednesday. I had the veggie sandwich, he had the little cheeseburger, and we split a regular order of fries. It was pretty tasty and filling.

I told him afterwards "that's what you call a guilty pleasure, There's nothing healthy about what we just did." He smiled and said "yea but it sure tasted good".

Looking forward to the Sounders game tomorrow, and the start of the WHL season. No lockout there!

Probably looking to go to a T-birds game or two early on. Wanted to get seasons, but the arena's all the way down in Kent, like 40 minutes from us.

It's not really a bad drive most of the time. Just don't go anytime from 6AM-9AM or 4PM-7PM. You'll hit the JBLM/Bellevue traffic and it'll take you at least 90 minutes.

That place is no joke. It's gonna get a lot of our business in the future.

Probably about the same. We're in Sammamish now and we'll be in Redmond starting Oct. 1.

On the plus side my hockey stink infested car finally got here last night and my stuff got here this morning. Have to give two weeks notice to get it out of storage so we'll probably do that today.

We're lucky enough to have a 5 Guys around our neck of the woods and we go there quite a bit. They also have one of those crazy coke machines with 132 flavors. But I'm not lying when I tell you that video is the best damn advertising they could get. They should put it on TV and pay that guy.

You're not joking. PK sent that to me and we knew we had to go, even though I've had it before.
