Jeez...I wonder if these Mega Packs are worth it..

30 cards...18 rare items.....Most will be all trainers/consumables naturally.

448 MS Points (with ST discount) or 35k pucks....WOW

Hmm....I'll buy one to check it out..**** it

30,000 pucks for 18 guaranteed rares or:
6 Gold packs at 5,000 each with a guaranteed chance of 18 rares with a chance at 24 rares and more items in total.

Would rather buy the Gold Packs.

Depends how many Jumbo packs you buy. If you buy 2 at 15,000 you're better of getting 3 Golds at 5,000 each.

In effect your paying 2,500 for 1 rare. Even though you'd get more with the golds.

If you want to trade Zetter for players then I'd be interested depending on who you want
yeah i would trade him, what would you give

Are the Mega packs worth it if you use MSP?

Im going today to buy a $20 PSN lol. I bought 2 packs and my best player is lol Tim Connolly..

Q, dunno if its been asked, but are card packs determined by your favorite team? I picked Toronto and my starter pack had both their jerseys, their logo, rosehill and like 4 other Marlie/Leafs. Maybe just coincidence.

Buying low and selling high is starting to become more difficult. Yesterday I made about 20,000 in about 3 hours. Today, I can't sell a thing. I actually bought an OEL card for 1,000 and I can't even seem to get my money back through two auctions. Player value, especially for those between 80-83 overall, has basically disappeared. I got 10,000 for a Wickenheiser on the third day of release, you can buy one now for about 3,000 most of the time. Players not retiring has destroyed the market.

Of course...

And the fact theres 600 Wickenheiser and Ruggerio cards up there...If there was maybe 5-6 it'd be different.

Consumables are useless as hell now..

Can't play the market nearly as well. It's a shame.

Prospects are useless...Anyone 80 and under basically is...Why even have training slots, whats the point...

EA dropped the ball big time, I hope they realize this and patch HUT.

The training slots have a point for the market; to take advantage of people that haven't figured out boosts only last 1 game. I've sold Kyle Palmieri(sp?) boosted to an 86 overall 4 times, all for over 5,000 pucks when I bought them for around 1,000. Derek Roy boosted to an 88 overall netted me almost 9,000 after a crazy last second bidding war between like 5 people lol. This was all yesterday though, it's getting harder and harder. Can't wait for Christmas so I can fool some more noobs lol.

Would Landeskog + work ?

I might still have my Tavares, depending on if he gets purchased or not. How about those 2 ?

If not, I have a Schneider

MA Bergeron is a pretty good bang for buck player.

Could get him for around 900-1000 and he's an 84 overall and pretty good in-game

Wait, the preorder thing comes with the Season Pass? I reedemed my code and it went through but I didn't get a Gretzky, season pass or anything you guys are talking about. So I just bought the season pass with microsoft points.

I got the regular edition preorder slip btw

Might as well list some teams and players you think are great values.

Comeau - Bouchard - Jones
Jeffrey - Wingels - Fehr
Mursak - Nokelainen - Bernier
Rinaldo - Gilles - Niederreiter

Wilson - Elliott
Gervais - Fayne
O'Brien - Komisarek

Giggy
Montoya

So far Wingels has been pretty slick for me, perfact balance of speed and hands. Elliott has a pretty solid shot in the game. Comeau is a lot faster than he is listed at, both he and Jones get a lot of breakaways for me. Giggy and Montoya are excellent goaltending bargains.

Should have mentioned it was David Jones. I've always found him to be very useful in NHL games.

Yea, I'm talking about David as well. Maybe because I'm used to faster players.
