Kamloops beat Calgary and Edmonton with Red Deer thrown in between and all three of those games within 4 days of each other. Honestly, the Blazers PP is a huge part of it. Blazers create so many chances even strength with their team speed, this forces opponents to take penalties, or give up great chances, so pick your poison. Also the Defence on Kamloops is top notch, so much so, They traded their first overall pick in Gaudet. Prediction: Kamloops will run away with the Western conference and will end up playing Calgary in the WHL final.
You keep going on about how Kamloops beat Edmonton, which they were extremely lucky to do. Barring a last minute short handed goal they would have and should have lost in regulation.

your totally right, They were VERY lucky to come out of there with a win but that was the Blazer's third game in 4 nights! Edmonton was fresh coming into that game. I say that the drive and determination of Kamloops in that game is worth alot. Imagine if Kamloops was fresh coming into the game! Can't wait to see it when that happens. Also can't wait for the home and home with Portland! that'll be a intense couple days.
'Canes are 3-0-1 in their last 4 games against some decent teams, the only loss was to Kamloops. This is thanks in large part to Ty Rimmer, who has been outstanding. He's played every game for them and leads the league in saves, despite playing less games than the goalie in 2nd place. Hopefully they can keep this streak going.

I cannot believe how badly Calgary got blown out, that is a complete shocker. I can't believe that Brandon only managed 9 shots in two periods. I can't believe how sick Colin Smith is and I can't believe how good Lethbridge is doing.

Ya wild night.
2 reasons for Lethbridge. One, Ty Rimmer, he has played every game and has played amazing, racking up 70 more saves than the next closest goalie in the league (same amount of games). Two, the offence is clicking and they are getting scoring from all 4 lines. They have quite a few players on hot streaks like Maxwell, McKechnie, Merkley and Ramsay.

I would of been shocked too, but I was at the game. I have never seen WHL hockey played so terrible. Medicine Hat could of killed them worse. It was so bad it was actually funny.
Another huge win for the 'Canes, 4-1 over Swift Current. Second game in a row where Lethbridge dominated shots and got 50 or more. It was a very physical and chippy game, I think there was 6 or 7 fights, and surprisingly the small Hurricanes' forwards stood up to it pretty well. They seem to be rolling, using their depth and getting scoring from all 4 lines.
Think this could be the night Kamloops finally loses. Take a 15-0-0-1 record into Everett.
yea, the record of Everette boasts (6-8-0-1) and last in the US Division makes it seem like they will be the one to do it! Just kidding of course, but your right in the fact that you can't look past any team, when you do so, that is when you lose. If the Blazers look past Everette then they may lose, if they don't and play their game. Kamloops winds this one hands down.
Phillips those "average" teams are the ones that you have to look out for.
Also I think Colin Smith should've won PotW award over Valk this week.
Yes, they are, if you overlook them. If you don't they are pray. And The WHL could'nt get the Blazers a 4th straight! even though I agree it was very possible to give it to Smith. What about world junior invites? Think Smith and Lipon will get a chance?

I think it depends if there is a lockout during the time, because if there is one then they have no chance of invite, but if there isn't then I could see him getting an invite. The problem is Hockey Canada is very weird when it comes to selecting players for their camp. Speaking as a Avs fan they didn't invite Elliott, Siemens, or Pickard, but invited Barrie and he eventual made the team.

as frustrating as it is that our team doesn't get very much coverage, there's no need to go the opposite way and make goofy statements for the sake of attention. win streaks this long will be noticed, and if they don't get the hype they deserve....all the better.

Can anyone upload a video of what happened there?
I was at the game and it wasn't anything crazy. It was just a scrum at the end of the period, it was lasting for quite awhile so I think the refs got sick of it and just handed out 10 minute misconducts.

Wow, what a game, I was shocked at the amount of discipline Everette showed in this one! incredible trap style game and they were really frustrating the Blazers. But as all good teams do, Kamloops found a way to extend their streak and set a franchise record of 14 wins in a row!
If i sound confident in the Blazers, that's cause I am, I may have some bold statements, but I would rather walk the line and be bold then be safe and disappear into the crowd. It's how I have lived my life and it has given me success.
