We played a 4-2-3-1

Perkins, Camara (68' Valentin), Nesta (82' Ouimette), Ferrari, Iapichino (46' Brovsky), Bernier, Warner (61' Mallace), Arnaud (75' Neagle), Ubiparipovic (61' Mapp), Nyassi, Di Vaio.

So Arnaud was back at RW. Ubi was playing CAM

I think it will most likely be an Italian coach. Joey and NDS are with the squad in Italy, can't imagine that Joey would go to te trip just to watch te guys

this second half of DC-NY is just amazing.... Kenny Cooper taken down in penalty box by the goalie and hamid is red carded... Cooper converts the penalty against the second goalie of DC but then it's called back and it's saved on the second attempt.... Marquez gets a second yellow card and is out of the game 1 minute after that .. wow !

Henry should of have taken that free kick. Scores it 9 times out of 10

Here's an example from virtually the same spot

Patrick Leduc seems to be saying that the Impact are interested in signing Aquilani on Loan from Fiorentina.

Aquilani is definitely a very good player. I can't see however that we'll bring him on Loan for the full season, maybe only during the summer break, otherwise it doesn't make sense for him to come here. It doesn't make sense either for us to bring him for only 2 or 3 months.

Even if we do get him here on loan, I doubt he plays much. The guy is constantly injured.

As a huge liverpool and Impact fan, do not want aqua anywhere near the impact. The guy is constantly hurt and nothing more than a big baby. There is a reason he never played for liverpool and there is a reason ac did not want to keep him there any longer.

Seems more common that players are loaned out for some reason so it must be possible to acquire players on loan as well...

Might as well rename the team "Squadra Azzura de Montreal".

Or Joey can get all the Italians he wants and pick up Thierry Henry just to compensate

MLS team do get players on loans. Juninho in LA is probably the best exemple of a very important loan(actually the only one off the top my head?)

And to answer the second question, loans typically work like a salary. Let's say a club in south america agree to loan a player to a MLS team for 50% of his wage, Multiply half his weekly wage over a year to know his annual cap hit. This is why you never see loaned players from Europe here, their wages are too high and if a big european club wants to sends a player on loan for free, most of them already have affiliated club in Europe that are easier to settle in and will be more helpful to develop a player technical skills.

After verification and to further prove my point:

MLS has 8 players that are loans(list is about 8 month old, it might have changed)

1 is English
1 is American
3 are Brazilian
1 is Argentinian
1 is Honduran
1 is Colombian

Juninho, he's already more important than Beckham in the midfield for LA.

Isn't this his 2nd year in LA ?

I can't see São Paulo just letting him go..

Normally I would tend to say, they are more than capable of letting him go, but with Lucas off to PSG this Winter, I could easily see them keep their hands on him.

They do have lots of Midfielders though (Paulinho, Denilson, Assuncao, Casmiero, and obviously Ganso who they just signed in late September), so its a toss up
