I would do Arod, top prospect and Granderson for Bay. Swisher is FA and we get supplementary draft pick when he signs elsewhere.

Bay's contract runs out after 2013. This makes the team more financially flexible to chase a fresher talent than ARod.

That Swisher play happened because he loves diving when he doesn't have to and he got caught in between.

Anybody got any audio of Suzyn Waldman's audio during the Jeter injury?

I want to hear if she had a heart attack.

Kevin Long also. Too many hitters have underachieved on his watch.

Long is a good coach. The problem is, he's been here too long. 2007 to be exact. Most of these hitters have picked up bad habits from him.
There just needs to be a different voice in there.

Having said that, it's not just his fault. The personnel needs to be revamped. I don't want hear from Cashman again that the offense is "fine". It is not.

Ha. I wish.

Seriously, if it happens it will be years from now and the Nats do have money. So no chance.

A-Rod is simply not a professional baseball player anymore.

I wish Steinbrenner would be more aggressive and strongarm him into retirement like Drury and Naslund.

Swisher is hot garbage.

Agreed. The mentality of nothing else matters but homeruns has Kevin Long written all over it.

Tex was a .300 hitter before Long got his hooks into him.
