11th Anniversary of September 11th.

Let us remember those who paid the ultimate price. Let us remember those that never got to say goodbye. Let us remember that child who will never see their parent or family. Let us remember all those who serve our Military proudly. Let us remember our first responders, Police, Fire, & EMS. Let us remember those who continue to suffer. Let us remember that in the face of tragedy we as a country rose to the occasion.

It's weird. My Dad was in town this evening and we had dinner at my cousin's restaurant in Long Island City (he lost his restaurant on Nassau St. after 9/11). After 11 years the hole in our hearts still exists, but it finally feels so long ago.

God bless those who lost their lives that day, those who have suffered the consequences of the rescue, and those who are still suffering. We will never forget.

There is a special place in this world for those who run towards danger and don't think of their own safety. God bless all the families and friends who lost a loved one on 9-11-01.

Amen to everything said here. Some wonderful people were lost that terrible day, and their families will be affected forever. My thoughts are with anyone who suffered a loss that day in NY, Washington and Pennsylvania. And my appreciation goes out to all those who fought in the wars that started after 9/11, thank you for making this a safer country.
