The A-Team (EASHL X360) NHL13 - EXPLOSIVE FIRST STEP EDITION -
This is the tale of the glorious A-Team, top 250 to 500 elite! That's right, NHL13 is upon us, and once again we'll be taking the pixellated ice like a Hurricane (hopefully not like the Hurricanes, unless they're good this year).
Clearly we have proven beyond doubt that we are the team of destiny, hailing all the way back from '08 this team has had more drama, webs of intrigues, politics, coups d'état, and plain stupidly awesome and less awesome moments than all of the EASHL teams combined.
We are an institution, and hating on us is one of the few consistent things about EA's NHL series. We also have the Super Series mode unlocked. If you care to learn about our rich history, see the history segment below.
Trying Out for The A-Team

1) You do not want to tryout for the A-Team, have you considered one of the other, better, and really really really ridiculously good looking teams out there?
2) Still here? You must be crazy, we like crazy, but not too crazy. Be advised, trying out for this team, you will be questioned for you failure in the offensive zone, defensive zone, neutral zone, and life in general.
3) If you still absolutely want to tryout for the A-Team, send a message in xbox live to Frishmana and/or Celestial Black, mention HF or A-Team tryout, and you will get one.

Somehow I managed to beat Bone-T to getting the game, so the A team is created(with a couple of extra spaces). Can' send anyone invites until they have the game though.

I'll add you to the tryouts list for when we do start tryouts for NHL13. It'll probably be at least two weeks, but more likely a month. You can go head and add Frishmania on xbox live, just so I have you up there.
We don't have the usual warning up there as we're not doing tryouts right now, but do think carefully if you're going to tryout for this team. 60 percent of the time we win everytime.
D and G should give you a fair shot if you're good, this team hadn't had a goalie all of NHL12 except for a brief stint by a Finnish guy. He was rock solid and I think he kept the shutout record all through the season.

He was definitely not the winningest goalie this team had to offer in 12 however.
alright so i noticed goalies get sniped a lot if they arent rated in the 70-80s as perfect positioning doesn't matter much when the ovrs are soo low. But I'm still a top notch offensive d-man who plays like Lidstrom (positionally sound/rarely makes bad pinches/very good at stick checking) and a good playmaking pwf RW

He's completely right about goalies. I played two games and there were double digit goals scored on me that just went through my five hole, under the blocker, over the shoulder, etc. It's going to be complete **** once everybody is in the 80s are our goalies are still 55s.
