Not sure why we are bringing them both back up now unless the flyer are preparing for a trade or bring them up for injuries that haven't been announced yet
Edit : these are regular waivers.. For some reason I thought they were waivers to bring them back up

Has any other player in NHL history been on waivers more times than Leighton? Not checking for facts on it, but it feels like it.

Watch Holmer try and claim his Golden Boy
Sesstitto could be a good guy for the Habs to take, add some craziness and toughness to the 4th line ?

I think he's been past double digits since the 2010-11 season

I really like Vopatti, Caps got a good 4th liner that will give it his best every game....
... hmmm wonder what Gillis has up his sleeve.

He has been claimed off waivers 4 times and I'd say that he has been waived maybe 10 times since the 05-06 lockout.

Hopefully for Flyers fans, this Boucher/Leighton era will end and they'll get a real backup or 1B goaltender for next year.

If a team is looking for Sjostrom 2.0, Tom Wandell is your guy.

Definitely see Wandell in a Nucks Jersey in a few days. We need a good third/fourth line centre, especially since Lapierre is having a bad year thus far.

Wandell is a better winger than center on a NA sized rink. He's also bad at faceoffs. However, he is very fast and can kill penalties. I wouldn't look for him to be a third liner, but he should be decent on the fourth line.

Somebody else might have mentioned it by now, but the so-called "recall waivers" don't exist in the new CBA, as far as I know.

Not a whole lot of need for useless backups these days.

If Leighton's wife ever decides their marriage is over, she won't divorce him, she'll just put him on waivers.

Does that mean he'll get sent down to the minors? What would that mean?

Blues claiming Wandell wouldn't be a bad thing. We need extra bodies.

Philly is tinkering with salary and looking to shed a contact since they gained one with Gagne.
