Also, I really hope Butler hooks on somewhere. He's a friend of mines cousin. Seemed to be doing well once upon a time, but looks like he's been slipping. This is the 2nd time now he's been waived, yes?

I remember when the Senators got Butler and he was a pretty good prospect. Doesn't seem like he'll ever be a regular NHL player. Not good enough for a top-six role and not suited for a bottom-six role. Extremely hard to figure out where to put a player like that.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Carolina grab him and put him in the AHL, but I'm not sure there will be a lot of outside interest. If he can't score with the Pens, he might just not be an NHL scorer.
