Does Bernhard Starkbaum have NHL potential? Put up fantastic numbers last year in Austria and seems to be doing great in SEL this year. Is he a new Frederik Andersen or are his stats deceiving?
Wouldn't say deceiving, but the SEL is a goaltender's league right now due to the low-scoring hockey that's for sure. Have to wait and see for a larger sample.
Sorry to ask this in multiple threads but can anyone tell me what's going on with Magnus Nygren? I dismissed him as nothing but a PP specialist last year but I notice he's playing big minutes this year, has he improved or is Färjestads just in need of his shot a lot?.
On a similar note, I highly doubt Max Görtz is gonna become a better hockey player by playing a whopping 36 seconds.. I also question why Calle Andersson made the trip just to sit on the bench all game, when their J20 team had a game today where he actually could've played. Honestly, this type of youth management I don't get, and it kinda pisses me off.
Niclas Burström signing until 2017 must be rather unusal for such a young player? Maybe my Magnus Johansson-hopes for him aren't entirely limited to wishful thinking...

No.
- Age (too old)
- Poor stick handling out of the net
- Poor Positioning
- Overall skill
Yup, we're all pretty shocked in Gothenburg. But happy Gotta have that 5'11 left-handed center!
Interesting signing no doubt, but how is Frölundas economic situation? Losing 60m over three years cant be a good sign. Is Frölunda risking its own future for present gains?
