Prospect update

Just thrown together nothing big here.

Stewart had no pts today, 4 pims, and was horrid in the faceoff circle going 2 out 10. Is leading the Q with 8 pts or was

Mark Flood scored his 1st of the season in his 2nd game, it's still going on.

Deveaux has an assist so far after being 3rd star in his last game.

Locke scored his 1st goal in his 1st game, plays tomorrow at 2 pm

Korpikari picked up an assist in his 3rd game, he plays on the 3rd pairing.

Korneev has no pts so far, but is on the top defensive pairing due to Sabres prospect Denisov being injured and his head coach from last year in now his assist coach for AK Bars.

Korneev is only 19, but he must add size and strength. At 176 lbs is just too small and his lack of strength will be exposed down low and in front of the net. Will need to be paired with a big stay at hom defensemen. (Korpikari, Linhart, Beauchemin perhaps) But being only 19, he should be able to grow some and a few years of weight training should help as well.

I've heard that Savard was looking to bring Korneev over after this season, if he continues to play well. I do think we have a possible gem, but we'll know more in a few years.

Oskari Korpikari plays in the SM Liiga (Finnish Elite League) for Karpat.

Also, Mark Flood got an assist on the game winning goal in ot tonight, and has 2 pts in 2 games. Was on the ice for 3 of the Petes 4 goals, and 2 of the 3 goals against.

No. All articles have to go through the editior, and she's very busy as you can see there's a ton of new articles coming out. I will have an article to update all the prospects stats shortly. I also have been working on an interview with Mark Flood and Corey Locke, but it's been slow going on both sides.

It's on the radio. Lambert made a good move then dropped it to Urquhart who moved left, then back and slid it in an open net for his 3 goal in 2 games.

Urquhart is heating up, 4 goals in 2 games. He shot a backhander that caught everyone by surprise or at least it caught the goalie by surprise. After that Cory had another chance to score, he got in alone but lost it off his stick.

If you have winamp, it's on rocket radio at 720CHTN

rocket radio is broadcast on the internet. Not sure if they keep doing this, but so far the last 2 games were on the radio. If they do it next game, I'll post the link to the radio page.

Yes 2 of them could. Lambert if signed could be moved up. Also Urquhart I would think makes the Dogs next year, even though he doesn't need to be signed this summer.
