Buffalo trades long time Sabre Thomas Vanek along with Ville Leino to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for center Travis Zajac and defensive forward Dainius Zubrus.
Expect more from the Sabres shortly, as other trades are being discussed.
By the way, does the difficulty setting affect games that aren't against the CPU? Because I just played my first 2 games against dallas and both felt like scoring-fests (3-4 and 4-5, the goals seemed to come easy).
If that's the case, I vote for the all-star setting.
Updated Trading Block:
1. Miller/Enroth
2. Regehr/Leopold
3. Any picks/prospects (I still have Grigs hanging around)
4. Willing to move anyone but untouchables for the right price.
Once people finish this set of games, the commish advances it to the next week. That is when your trade will be completed, after everyone finishes their two games.
You can play your games now, just message the people you are playing to get a game time. I advise adding people in your division since most of your games are against them.
I think its ok to start free agency, once again they won't decide who to sign wth until after we advance the schedule. Lets aim to have our games done by Tuesday? Let me know if you want more time.
yeah i'm waiting for someone to register too, i think we are missing 10 people? prolly have a few requests waiting for me, but i guess if by tuesday we still have people that aren't registered and yet still want to play and everything, we can simulate those games?
- Do we actually play Human vs. Human in this mode?
- When can we decide to play human vs CPU? i.e what happens if someone plays my team without notifying me...

Was thinking about this? not sure how you guys feel about it, but to make it fair, perhaps we should only play human vs human, and then if you cant schedule a time to play with the other team by the time we advance the schedule, then just leave it and it will be simmed. Sounds good? If someone continues to play games vs your cpu team without you saying its ok, we can give them warnings/boot them?
Sounds good to me, that's how I thought it should be too.

If you can't play in this time period send me a message and we can try to work something out. You may be forced to play the CPU or Sim the game.
I also agree, by simming games that aren't human vs human it keeps it more balanced. Someone can't complain either because there was no hand in it, just a random result really.
Tuesday is fine also, first week is only 2 games so its good for active people, and nonactive wont be missing anything really.
Were going to need a schedules as well, like advance a week every 3 days or something.
