Oh, and Jordan Henry didn't get anything from that hit at 0:09 on Jyrki Jokipakka in the game. Hopefully will get at least something eventually, but I'm not sure if I should hold my breath on that.
It ended up on Liusjärvi's desk, so I'm guessing there will be a suspension.

Five games.
Was under the impression that the punishment system would be tougher on things like these, but Henry gets five games for intentionally elbowing a player to the head when the guy doesn't even have the puck.
Edit. I guess he would had probably gotten a game or two last year.

Jarkko Ruutu would've probably been suspended for the remainder of the season (including the possible final series) if he'd pulled a stunt like that. Now he got 4 games for something much less intentional than this and Henry got only one game more with the 'new and improved' suspension system. They need to start being more logical with these. Pikkarainen got 7 games, I would've given Henry at least the same number.

Shouldn't you wait for them to make the playoffs first?

Anyone fancy uploading the video to YouTube of the Jyväskylä Zamboni driver doing 360 spins and a lap of honour to "Simply the Best" at the end of the 2nd period JYP-Jokerit?

@goranstubb: The popular FIN "winter-classic" Jokerit vs HIFK will be back at the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki March 1 2014.

Hi guys!
I wonder what is the decider if 2 or more teams are tied in points: h2h, more wins or goal difference?
Thanks!

^^ More 3-point wins I believe is the difference maker this year.
HIFK looks good today to go at least 6th as HPK's record at Hartwall areena is horrible.
Plus there is other interesting matchups today.

Probably the first time I've ever rooted for HIFK and Jokerit at the same time, but if Jokerit wins and so do we, we make it to 6th =P

Last time when HPK won in Hartwall Areena it was 7 years ago...though they just need to make to overtime today to keep the 6th position.

Looks like HIFK decided to go full retard right now...
EDIT: And that's all folks. Looks like we'll be facing Lukko for a playoff spot.
