personally I want them both in junior so maybe they can both make team canada
rielly will be with moose jaw

Holzer is still waiver exempt for 1 more year or 68 more NHL games played, whichever comes first. 1-way and 2-way contracts are irrelevant in terms of waivers. They only dictate if there are separate salaries for the NHL and AHL, depending on where you are.

Oh, and how the **** is RNH allowed to be in the AHL? He's 19 and a CHL draftee.

Just for clarification:

Quote:
James Mirtle ‏@mirtle

Leafs also assign Rielly, Biggs, Broll and Percy to their junior teams in WHL and OHL.

James Mirtle ‏@mirtle

Leafs send 22 players to Marlies, including Kadri, Gardiner, Holzer, Colborne, Ashton, Hamilton and Komarov.

His injury will keep him out and pay him an NHL wage, until he's
ready to return, to whatever league is playing at that point.

Frattin is ineligible to play for the Marlies during the lockout because he is no longer on his entry-level deal. He signed a 2-year, one-way contract this summer. He can only play for the Marlies if they put him on waivers, which obviously isn't going to happen.

As an 18 year old who played in the NHL, he is eligible to play in the AHL this year.

Since the majority of players aren't paid during the lockout is Frattin an exception because he got hurt? Although since he got hurt with the Marlies why would that matter in this situation?

Is Biggs still playing College Hockey because I thought he was going to play for the OHL team that has rights (can't remember which team) and he was assigned there by the Leafs.

Biggs has left college and was assigned to the Oshawa Generals of the OHL.

Everybody is talking about lockout rosters but maybe in late November when the lockout is hopefully over, here is the possible lineup for the marlies.

D'amigo-colborne-Ashton
Hamilton-aucoin-Scott
Ross-zigomanis-mckegg
Deschamps-devane-Ryan

Ranger-blacker
Fraser-kostka
Yeo-gysbers

Owuya
Rynnas

Assuming that komarov has the 4th line left wing on the leafs.
I left players like acton out and abbot so that they can play in the echl to help their development.

Does anyone here have high hopes for Brad Ross? Ive heard the Tucker comparisons and Im not seeing it . I dont like that pick at all. He sure has done well with Portland, even when his 2 NHL linemates left the team so thats bodes well. Im just not sold on him. I hope Jerry D'amigo is given a real chance. He was outstanding in the AHL playoffs. I think he can do well in the NHL. Excellent PK and hard worker. Solid NHL build as well. Plays well with KAdri.

Players key to Leafs develop this year to me are Colborne, Devane(if on roster), Ashton, Ross, and Blacker.

If D'amigo and Deschamps continue their playoff play, we may have 7 players very well worth watching this year.

But where he is drafted from is the determining factor.

He was not drafted out of the CHL. Same with Europeans drafted out of Europe.
