My favorite so far is when Ray Sawada scores..

"Ray Sawaddayaat Sawada"

I love when he get on the refs, or mentions the size of the crowd being under what is announced, or mentions the 50-50 prize on the road like he did on Sunday, I think it was about $250.

Game tomorrow evening at 5pm CST. Feels like it's been too long since.

That's cool that Sawada is with the IceCaps. Liked him back in the Moose days!

Sometimes I miss the Moose. I mean it's great we have NHL hockey back in Winnipeg but I really grew to love them. I still wish I would have gone out and bought a Moose jersey.

I enjoy Klingberg and I think he will eventually be an NHLer.

My pet prospect is usually somebody who's upside is unknown or has a little less of a chance.

Last year, I was all about Telegin, Melchiori and this year I am all about O'Dell and O'Neill

Admittedly, I don't expect much from either guy... but I remain hopeful.

*Edit*

Ryan Olsen is the guy in jr. that I am following closely. I predicted in the preseason that he'd score at a similar rate to Sutter, but I was thinking 60+ points, not the 14 that Lukas is on pace for.

Fine, have your random, pointless favourites for being underdogs
Remember though that O`Neill is old for a rookie in the AHL...

It was a nice shot/pass from the point from Redmond and tipped in.

I think none AHL streams I found are working. Bummer.

Well then I'll go to bed :/ It's 1 am in Germany and I was ready to stay awake for the game but for a radio stream... naaa. I'm gonna catch up Burmis hattrick tomorrow.

Was there a reason Burmi was split up from Antro and Wellwood last season I can't remember? I was watching a bunch of games from the begining of the season on the plane today and they were dominant together their puck possession was unbelievable.

I can't wait for the PP to be:
Meech-Postma
O`Neill-Redmond
I'm not a fan of putting King on the point

AHL Live or Rogers TV is messing up so can't watch the game, but apparently Ramsey scored so we're up 2-1.

Another win for the boys. Very envious of St. John's right now. Glad the ice caps have such great fans .

Hey fellow fans, just home from the game, quick points before I go to bed

Burmistrov is downright dominant. In all aspects of the rink this guy dominates. He's the best player I've seen for stripping the puck off the opposition on a back check. His time in the AHL is really going to boost his confidence.

ONeil had a poor game. The poorest out of all icecaps. Looked out of shape IMO.

Telegin is going to be a stud, this kid is huge and he can skate like a pro. I was very impressed.

Chiraot, I was never an overly huge fan. I find him slow. As a fan I don't have much confidence, I understand he's young but sometimes you just know.

Redmond was the second best player on the ice for the icecaps. Burmistrov was number 1. Redmond will be a great NHL #2 dman. Very very impressed with him tonight.

For the record, I don't base my personal assessments on scoresheets and box scores, I find they can be misleading without actually knowing what was taking place.

Cheers all.

I really hope that the Pasquale x Dex combo can push both goalies. I would love to see Pasquale up in the bigs.
