It looks to me like Marcantuoni can do a lot at a pretty high rate of speed. Maybe not *everything*, but I see him stick handling, shooting, and even changing the angle of shots while skating, all be it in limited viewings. Perhaps the only thing I haven't seen him do is use his linemates as much as he should.
None of that means anything though if it doesn't translate into points, and while it's reeeaaal early in the game he needs to start producing in the OHL before I start considering him an NHL caliber prospect.
Looks like Murray is going to see a ton of shots this year. Stopped 37 out of 40 in 3-2 loss to Windsor. It'd be nice to see him get a shot at the WJC if he has a strong start to the season.
2012 5th-rounder Clark Seymour scored a goal for Peterborough.
Now if only Pouliot could get on the board tonight.
Clark Seymour seems like he should be a 19th century Scottish sailor.

Pouliot needs some sort of an epic amount of points this season, I think. I'll be highly disappointed if he doesn't.
Portland's forwards are a fairly young group, so this will be an interesting year for him. There's definitely talent, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a slow offensive start for him as the team discovers it's chemistry.
Speaking of which, it's only two games into the season, but Oliver Bjorkstrand (a name I will never get tired of typing) might be Portland's next Euro star. Four points thus far.
Sundqvist with 1+2 and a +3 rating in the 3rd and last game for them this weekend. He had a good weekend with 4+5=9 points in 3 games over the weekend. HE has 11 points in 6 games total.
.
Peterborough Petes have a tough roster this year. Derek Mathers, Stephen Pierog, Luke Hietkamp, and Clark Seymour are players who are willing to fight.

Well that's certainly good. Nice PPG ratio there even if it's only been 3 games.

What chance does he have at getting promoted to the Senior team?

I dont know hoe the situation looks up on the "big club" But in the J20 team he sees all special-teams, gets big minutes late in games and is the teams leading scorer. So if injuries occur my bet is hes one of the 1st on the shortlist.
Wasn't Sundqvist billed as a more physical, grinding style guy? I thought that's how he described how he liked to play the game.
I could be completely wrong and thinking of the wrong person though.
I think he was billed as a power forward. Big player (6'3" 190 ish- check) who can play nasty, yet still produce on offense. He was regarded as a bit of a project, as his offense had not really developed. And while it is still very early in the season and he is playing in a junior league, it sounds like he is starting to realize his offensive potential.
But like I said, it is very early to state anything conclusively.
The Winterhawks won again. Pouliot with an assist.
Lets hope he can keep producing. i have PPG hopes for him this season tbh. I know portland has a bit worse team this year, but he should still be able to increase his point totals from last year.

Awesome, will he be on the Sweden team at the World Juniors?
They've seen very little ice time together. I think most were in a few instances on special teams and in the midst of line changes. I think Rutkowski is Pouliot's current partner.
