-5 on 3 for the barons. Schultz and Fedun looking good as the QB's. Schultz ain't shooting, though.

-Guess I'll just start editing this post from now on.

-Bunz is in now.

-Pelss sprung by Fedun on a partial which Hamilton almost finished off.

-lengthy 2 man advantage coming up for OKC. Things getting a little chippy.

-Martindale scores. Harksi crashed the net, looks like he bumped the goalie well out of his crease and Martindale threw it in the wide, wide open net.

-2 man adv. continues. Schultz scores from between the circles on a pass from behind the net from...not sure., edit from Ringwald and Harski....or Harski and Martindale...we need a boxscore.

The older guy that's helping call the game online is brutal, other guy is decent though. If he says "Uhhhh" one more time, I'll snap.

Edit: Snapped.

Here's the box score for this interested. Martindale and Harski with two points apiece. http://oilers.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=642954

Looks like it's 3-0 now, Arcobello from Fedun and Tyrvainen. Good for Fedun!

What period is the game in? I ordered a 5 game package but I obviously don't want to use up a game on just one period.

Edit: When I ordered it, apparently I used up one of my games. It just didn't automatically launch. So this has been an expensive couple minutes of Baron hockey

3rd period, I wouldn't waste it on a preseason game especially without most of our big guns.

Davidson and Lander on the Pelss tally. The team really picked it up in the second half of that game.

Sounds like Martindale had himself a game, after all. Good job, kid. And Schultz picking up the first star!

Even though he may have had a good game he'll probably still be playing in Stockton.

RNH, Green, Arcobello, Vande Velde, Lander, those are just off the top of my head. I suppose Green and Arcobello could play wing if need be, but it's not as if there's much room at the Inn right now.

Thanks, if you don't mind my asking, what are your thoughts on Martindale, Pelss, Rajala, and Fedun's mobility?

Yeah, I know. It's just nice to see him get a good start to this season after last year's dismal campaign. Hopefully he takes some confidence from this with him down to Stockton.
