bewbies I'm not sure if you know this or not but Teubert and Eberle played together in JR, and won the WJC together as well and are pretty good buddies - that might have had something to do with his getting an A as well.

Those are sharp. Hamilton is wondering what time this event ends.

Hamilton is such a hipster. Only hockey player I've ever seen who rocks the big chunky glasses (or any glasses, for that matter). Love it.

If Hamiltons career doesn't work out I'm sure he could line something up with Urban Outfitters.

Actually I did know this as of Saturday as it was a trivia question during the intermission!

As Per Darren Dreger:

Taylor Hall is getting closer to joining the Oilers AHL team. Will see a surgeon this week. With clearance, likely 10 days - 2 weeks away.

That's exciting, but I hope they still err on the side of caution. I'd rather delay his start by a couple weeks and make sure everything is healed up completely.

And if it's deemed 100% what would be the point? If you want to err on the side of caution then don't clear him at all this year and only wait until the NHL is on.

I've just seen it happen a few too many times these past years where a player is cleared and gets re-injured shortly after returning to action. There's no point in rushing Hall onto an AHL line-up.

They aren't rushing him though. Rushing him would've been having him go down with Eberle and RNH. Sitting around doing nothing isn't going to help his cause either.

If he's going to get hurt he's going to get hurt.

It's Taylor Hall, I approximate him 2 weeks before he's re-injured since this is way too soon.

We're only into October when we heard he wouldn't have been back till November - December - only rushing it as per usual.

So where does it end? Why 2 weeks, why not 2 months or 2 years, lets make sure that shoulder is really 100%.

If doctors deem him 100% and he gets re-injured then it is what he is. Holding him out 2 more weeks isn't going to make that shoulder stronger.

Yeah, I agree. If the doctor says it's good to go, then it's good to go. You can't wrap these guys in bubblewrap and cotton balls. They wouldn't stand for it even if you tried. If they get hurt in the A then they get hurt. It's hockey.

When he's officially cleared, I wouldn't let him play even practice full contact for like another month.

Just a quick question: what do you think "cleared for contact" means, exactly?

I have no idea, maybe perhaps that they can be rubbed out along the boards and skate around absorbing minimal contact? Sorry man...
