This. It was a treat to watch those three pick teams apart.

Good times man. Good times.

Having Karlsson is the only thing that comes close to filling the giant hole they left in my heart.

How it would go down if I ever saw Heatley at a fancy party

appears turris is playing on karpat's first line. They're up 2-0 over HIFK after 1 period. No points for turret through.

I was in Vancouver a few years ago when the line was together. Went to a pub to watch a game and a few mins later a group of older guys comes in and sits at the table behind us.

Double take and i realized it was babcock and crew. At the time i didn't know to look for MacLean but he was probably there (damn wish i had a picture). Anyway there were 2 games on and they were watching one game, we were watching the ottawa game. But it wasn't long before we were all watching the ottawa game. I remember babcock saying to his table, "are you seeing this?", pointing at the ottawa game. "look at these guys" and from then on we all marveled the pizza line together.

Karlsson has a goal for Jokerit (tied the game at 2-2 5 seconds before the first intermission), game still underway.

Turris played his first game in Kärpät jersey today in a 4-1 win against HIFK. Overall he played well considering he has not played for months and he's obviously suffering from jetlag. He scored the 4-1 goal to the empty net at the end of the game even though his linemate could have scored himself, but he passed to Turris to let the guy have his first SM-liiga goal in his first game

Finally, Erik scores with a huge slapshot from the blue line. Stanley Cup winning Antti Niemi played his first game in months, he maybe should have saved it.

Yep, I'll try. Turris will propably play all his games centering the first line with Ivan Huml(Played in the Bruins organization as a rookie during seasons 2001-2004, last season he scored 46pts in 54 games finishing 13th in the league in points) and Juha-Pekka Haataja(Was the second best goal scorer in the league last year) playing as his wingers. Both are easily top10 forwards in this seasons SM-liiga(not counting lockout players) and could propably be playing a top6 role in the KHL.

Kärpät played against HIFK in Oulu today and tomorrow they will face each other again, this time in Helsinki. I'll be watching the game and try and report here how Kyle performs

Me too... It would be something seeing EK Jokerit jersey in a game in Ottawa. Really rare jersey in NA, could be a conversation opener.

http://www.jokerit.com/shop/index.php

There "Pelipaidat" (Jerseys) -> on the bottom left corner "Pelipaita nimellä ja numerolla REEBOK" (Jersey with name and number).

90 euros + postage. The jersey is without ads.

For foreign orders you have to pay for advance. More information by email: jokerit@hartwall-areena.com

Karlsson's stats yesterday. BTW, it was the first game for Sharks' Antti Niemi this season playing for Pelicans. Not the best game for him, 26 saves on 29 shots, save% 89,66%.

OCT 12, 2012: PELICANS @ JOKERIT 3 - 4 S/O
G 1, A 0, P 1, +/- +0, PIM 0, S 6, TOI 26:19

Erik's stats after 7 games: 2 + 4 = 6 pts, +/- +8, PIM 0, S 55, average TOI 25:57.

If you order this way, you'll get a rubbish name and numbers. I got my Erik jersey by specifically telling them, I want the proper numbers, not those small and wrong-coloured glued numbers.

Call/email, the better name and numbers, the same the actual jerseys have. The guy understood me and promised to got it done, Im very happy with the result.

Very nice. Now hopefully he gets some practice with the goalie in net.

Havent had this much fun watching FEL since Filppula led my team to championship couple years ago

If the unthinkable happens and whole season is locked out, i wish more these youngster would sign in FEL, they seem to re-energize the teams.

And now i have reason to go watch Kärpät games !

I was looking at the site yesterday looking for a jersey, but couldn't really navigate.

I wish they had the ads on them. I have a Czech league jesey that is just ad plastered and I love it. But the winking clown is good enough.

You were speaking English? Maybe I should do that, though I feel like it'd be a very awkward phone conversation.

Hartwall Arena is a great ice rink to visit...

I'm quite certain that the person answering the call will talk good English and that the conversation won't be awkward. Especially in a franchise with foreign players and fans too.

I think the best way will be by email though.

He's at 2 + 5 = 7, no? And the team is 6-1 with him? What was their record beforehand and how do they rank overall in the league?
