What do you do when you enter the offensive zone?

What do you do?

I just started playing the game and have a really hard time doing anything creative as the cpu-defencemen seems to strip the puck off of me when I try to go straight for the goal. It's either a shot from far away with the defencemen more often than not blocking the shot - or going wide and then have the defencemen block the passing lanes.

What do you do?

It's more fun to play online, because the D can actually make mistakes. This is what I basically do when playing online;

- Try to enter with speed, because in nhl 13 you can just skate past the D if they get caught
- If they're positioned well, just dump it in and forecheck aggressively, this actually works this year if you do it right
- or just deke past them, try to utilize the backwards skating sometimes

Basically, you just need to practice and you'll get it

Forecheck, forecheck, forecheck, the only way i found i can get into the zone is by a dump and chase then a strong forecheck to see if I can force my way into a scoring chance.
