Ok, well it looks like the site I am using (it is, from what I can tell, the Czech Extraliga official site) records OTL losses as L. Drops him to 2-9 though.

Thanks added.

Here's the updated table, for those that don't check the OP.

PlayerTeamLeagueGP GAPTSPIM+/-
Alexei Ponikarovsky Donbass KHL 15 3 7 10 8 0
Nik Antropov Barys Astana KHL 11 2 3 5 15 +1
Evander Kane Dinamo Minsk KHL 7 0 0 0 43 -4
Tobias Enstrom EC Salzburg AUS 1 0 0 0 0 0
Blake Wheeler EHC Munich DEL 0 0 0 0 0 0

PlayerTeamLeagueGP RECORDGAASVPSO
Ondrej Pavelec Bili Tygri Liberec CZE 11 2-9-0 3.63 .893 0

Donbass has been playing really well of late, has improved to 7th in the West. Ponikarovsky has been playing top line with Fedotenko from what I can tell, and is starting to produce well.

Antropov seems to be up and down offensively (no surprises there). Has been playing a "WPG connection" line (my own invented name ) with Winnipeggers Dustin Boyd and Nigel Dawes. This is probably Barys' "1st Line" but they seem to spread the minutes fairly evenly among the top 3 lines, with a 4th line of scrub enforcers playing 2-3 minutes a night.

Kane well, I think we know the story there. 43 PIM's is surprisingly high though

Lots of locked out players in that Austrian League with Enstrom. Mursak is tearing it up. Enstrom has only played the one game, his first of the year, so nothing to state there yet.

Surprisingly few locked out NHLers in the DEL with Wheeler, only Giroux, Briere and Benn other than the German NHLers (Goc, Ehrhoff, Sulzer, Seidenberg), be interesting to see how he does there. Giroux and Briere have been tearing it up with Eisbaren Berlin (3g, 9a in 5gp each), Benn has been rather average (1g, 5a in 7gp) with Hamburg.

Pavelec, well we know the story there, but 2-9 is not that encouraging no matter what. Liberec was a decent enough team last year (4th in a league of 14), but need to start improving just to avoid relegation at this point (currently sitting 13th, only ahead of Sparta Praha, but Praha is the big money team in the Czech, they will spend as necessary to avoid relegation).

Why the **** would Wheeler sign in Germany when his wife is due with their first child early next month? Most women in their third trimester can't travel and I don't see him as the kind of man that would miss the birth of his child.

According to the stand up comedy of Gerry Dee, not witnessing the birth of your child will keep a marriage together.

Apparently she gave birth to their son a week ago. Says in the linked article. They're both coming to join him mid november.

My fault for being lazy then. Clearly Wheeler just wants to play if he's paying the insurance himself. And congrats to the Wheelers.

On a side note Tim Stapleton is the 16th leading scorer in the KHL and only two guys in the league have scored more goals. always happy to see one of the good guys doing well.

Ladd and Stuart will be organizing a charity hockey game to be played at the U of M on Nov. 17th. Tickets are $20. Great idea by some great guys.

Kane scores! However it was 6-1 for Metallurg Magnitogorsk at the time of his goal, Minsk ends up losing 7-2.

yeah, stapler is really growing into one of the best players in minsk. btw, e.kane scored his first goal in the khl today. so it took him 8 games and a helluva lot of pms to get his first (and the only one so far) point. indeed, better late than never

Sorry for the shoddy quality, but here you go. I didn't even realize Pavelski had joined the team until I saw his name.
