There's absolutely no chance that Seguin plays in AHL ?

Haggs had a tweet about the school thing. Seguin said he couldn't beleive people actually thought he was serious. The school thing was 100% a joke.

I was under the impression that when news is posted here, links are strongly encouraged.

From now on, I'll be sure to just say "check Twitter" instead.

None. He's played too many NHL games, would have to clear waivers to be sent to Providence.

If you're on your phone, take a moment to say, "I'd post a link, but I'm on my phone." That's basic courtesy. And you weren't the OP to begin with, so the suggestion wasn't addressed to you.

And nice non sequitur.

Welcome to Switzerland Seguin. It will be a great experience for him. Biel isn't exactly a great team but he sure will help them get better.

Way better choice than going to the KHL for such a young player.

I would have preferred the AHL (if he didn't have to clear waivers, which I thought was the case?) because it would have allowed him to form a little chemistry with guys like Knight, Spooner, etc., and I could have watched it as well.

I'm gonna travel to Biel then. So excited to see both him and Seidenberg!
One week to go.

I would like to recommend Wentworth for engineering.

Having an engineering degree from there has done wonders for my career.

Can someone explain the waivers situation in regards to Seguin to me?

If he wanted to play in the AHL he would have to clear? Giving other teams the chance to pick him up?

I understand your point but I also think it will be really good for his character to play in a completely different country overseas.

Oh and like all can/us players he will be amazed by the fans

Playing in Swiss sounds better than playing in Boston for a year.

Listening to radio im told that these guys are paid in euro so even at 65 percent. The money is a wash.

So what can you offer a 19 year old to get him to come back to the NHL? When he's gettin close to same money in arguably a better new fun place?

Personally I say screw the NHL. Same money. Perhaps better place.

That's what scares me about the lookout.

Nice - still dissapointed that the Saison doesn't start on time, but the possibility of Seguin signing my Seguin shirt is awsome. He will be playing for a second League team and his speed will help him on our bigger fields.
