Yeah something that was thought impossible for decades has finally happened.
In the Arctic Cup - old boys tournament - Denmark managed to beat Canada 12-5 and Sweden 4-3 after a penalty shootout. Had Denmark won in ordinary time (and they were in a 3-2 lead) Denmark and not Sweden would have advanced to meet Russia in the semifinal. The danish loss 4-3 to Norway was the reason for the lack of advance.
But the old boys has shown it can be done......Sweden can no longer rest assured
Ronny Larsen was awarded best danish player in the tournament. Not surprising for us who remember his stick skills.

Thanks.... since it's basically the only wintersport we have any chance against our nordic brothers (also curling, if that qualifies as a sport ). So we have to beat them to make them take us seriously.....so beating Sweden is most important in the long run. But it's important to show Norway that "older brother" should be better than "younger brother"
