Romaniuk is already attributing the Jets win to Pavelec. Can't wait for Clueless to chime in like he did this morning on the goaltending.

Suppose I should be objective here. I liked how the team played this game. They played like they were playing the 2nd worst team in the league. Wheeler, Armia, Morrissey, Perreault, Petan, Ehlers all had strong games.

So Burmi led all Arizona forwards in ice time (2nd of all skaters), had an assist, and was one of 3 yotes to have a positive plus/minus. Interesting

So you guys actually think Pav didn't look good?

He got scored on by a deflection, a PP goal, and a bounce off of Morrissey.

I thought his rebound control was on point and he played with confidence.

That epic desperation save on Vrbata was epic too.

Good ol' Pavelec pulling off a highlight reel save so that people forgot about... whatever the first goal was.

Huzzah for Ehlers.

It feels good to be in the win column again.

Must have missed it but why did Ehlers only get 4 shifts in the 3rd? Was it from being hurt earlier orrrr....??? I know he scored on one of them which was nice.

Meh win against a garbage team. Try scoring 6 against a real NHL defense and mayyybe I can stay awake after 2nd intermission.

He has a point in every game he has played for the coyotes.

Gonna judge Pav and the team with their efforts over the next 10 games, not just this one meaningless one that they practically had to win due to microagressive mgt calling him up and "sending a message". Not at all impressed.

He was on the fourth line, he decided Copp would be a good top 6er

Puck handling was solid. A good start for Pavs and a great game for the Jets, even if it's not likely they could win this way against stronger opponents.

Well that was a good team performance but the Coyotes are pretty awful so I'll wait a few to see if they've come out of it.

Pavs was well his typical self. A couple of great acrobatic saves, odlffset by a number of soft goals and made the rest look like an adventure.

I liked Buff, Morrissey and Trouba on D. All had very strong games. Morrissey has started to find his offensive game as of late.

The vet line showed up and had a dominant game as did LAM.

Scheifele is taking too much abuse he set up about 4 grade A chances in the first 2 periods and did a good job stealing pucks in the offensive zone.

Petan had a strong game and good on Ehlers for that big FU shift to Maurice after getting unfairly demoted. The guys third in team scoring for crying out loud. Copp nice goal but looked horribly out of place in the top 6. That experiment better end tonight.

So, Ehlers was effectively benched? Interesting. I don't know if this was the game for that but we got results.
