NHL hockey is always better than not... people forget I guess we would be missing yet another prime year of Crosby/Stamkos/Malkin...etc.

Yes the Leafs have had a terrible decade and it certainly doesn't look better next year but I want to watch the best of the best.

Who didn't enjoy the playoffs last year?
Watching games with friends?
Going out with co-workers for a pint in the game?
Going to a game?

It's a Leafs city and a large part of it dies without hockey.

I was pretty focused on the Leafs team but that does put it in perspective, but I still stand by my point the leafs will not be hurt as bad as some teams such as Detroit or Anaheim. Thanks for pointing that out though I watched hockey pretty much every night until the Kings won, its more forgetful when it isn't your team...I still remember where I was when 99 scored in '93.
