Just saying 1st game back should be a night game that's all. The atmosphere would be so much better.

I want hockey as soon as possible. 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 7:00 PM, it doesn't matter. If the 21st is the earliest they can swing having a home game and it happens to be a matinee, I'll take it.

Just FYI, the selection of what player's autograph you want goes in order based on the date you renewed your season tickets, not based on seniority. Here's the old email:

"Thank you for renewing your 2012-2013 Bruins Season Tickets. As a benefit for renewing by the March 9 early renewal deadline, you will be receiving a hockey stick signed by a player of your choice.

Information regarding how to select a player will be sent in the fall, and sticks will be distributed early next season.

Please note the important information below:

-One autographed stick per account
-The number of autographs per player are limited
-Selection of a player's autograph is based on the date you renewed your season tickets
-Player's autographs will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis

Thank you for your continued support and dedication!"

I'm sure the signed sticks are literally the last things on the minds of the STH reps right now. Getting a schedule in place, getting people their tickets, selling single game tickets, getting group tickets together, etc. all trump the signed sticks so I would assume we won't hear for a little while

Haha... same here. I think that was the infamous "It'll take a miracle now!" game where Jack Edwards said that with 10 seconds left as the Blues took the puck up the ice and tied it with a second left.

I hate the MLK day game. I don't get the day off from work since I work in NH.

I agree with Alycat. Would be so much better if the first home game were a night game.

Absolutely agree that the atmosphere is a billion times better at night. But there's no way they're going to do a night game on MLK day even if it is opening day/night. It's always been an afternoon game that day.

I really don't think the schedule is going to change significantly from the original schedule. Opponents will change of course considering we're playing mostly within division and solely within the eastern conference. But remember they have other events and Celtics games to schedule around and they already had the Garden reserved for the Bruins for the dates of their original schedule. So I would assume you'll see games on the originally scheduled dates, of which there are 16 left if they start the season on the 19th. Then they'll just add in 8 more

Very true. A few years back the Providence Bruins sent me a puck to use in a fundraiser. I opened it up and said "who the heck is Brad Marchand"....true story.

is it a real stick or is it going to be a mini hockey stick? I don't expect a used stick but I will be upset if I get a mini bruins plastic stick...

I thought you were ordered by the HF Boycott Police to skip the first game

Oh no, I think I'm allowed to go....I just can't act like I'm at a hockey game and/or that I enjoy hockey while I'm there. Jacobs really cares about my personal enjoyment while I'm in his house, so that'll show 'em!

I'm practicing my Mykala Maroney Is Not Impressed look as we speak. I'm sure that will upset Jacobs mightily as he sits in Buffalo and tallies his profits.

I am all for the guy making a profit. What I am not a fan of is his gouging of his customers. I dont mind paying a little more for a Coke but does he really need to charge $6 for 16oz soft drink? Hey even a 100% profit would be acceptable. Charge $2.50 and he still makes over 100% profit. Charging $6 is assault on my backside.

Im angry at the whole situation and jacobs. But i'll hopefully get to bring my 5 year old nephew to a game this year.. those boycotters should have to tell him he can't have a pop corn or nachos and a gatorade.. kids would bite their fingers off. Not including what i'd have to deal with haa.

You crack me up.

What...aren't you going to give up your seats ?...that would teach Jacobs a leaaon he would never forget.

I mean who would want to buy two seats right behind the net if you gave them up? They would be empty all season
