Just to add a few things- my rep who is Susan's rep left because her husband also in this business got a very good offer with an NFL team and it was a no brainer. He did very well. They will fill position but right now it was quick.

The sticks are good- good enough for me to use in a pick up game. They are not the little white ones.

They are getting all the logistics ready for tickets and will be emailing everyone once the schedule comes out- likely have to print but I'm sure they'll mail out as well. I'd wait to call till the schedule is out and then give them 24-48 hours.

Jacobs has resisted my request for that Eddy's Ice Cream soft serve machine with waffle cone to come back (Wally I asked Pocket J but I'm going to fight this to the end)

Anything else? Bourque is probably going to be third line LW

Are we getting actual hard tickets? I wouldn't be surprised if they told us to print out each ticket through our Bruins account where this is so last minute and they have something like 13,000 tickets to print up and mail out very quickly, like I said earlier, as long as it scans at the turnstile, I could care less what they look like

A Printer could turn around that job in 48 hours if they wanted. Tickets could be sent next day in plenty of time.

IF this is true... can you get me a job at your work?.. I got a bachelors degree but in criminal justice.. i'm screwed when it comes to jobs in corporate or the professional world.

my rep ( Kaitlin) is still here. She got a call early Sunday morning to come into work, the sales office is down three reps and really short-handed. No information on when or how tickets will be distributed but expect electronic to be an option they push. Given how swamped they are, asking about signed sticks seems a bit like piling on to me.

I bet its in the 30k range.

Pro teams know they can get anyone in there, for a small wage because of the potential for moving up. If they don't like it or screw up, well there will be a line to take their job.

At any given time they have an army of interns working for them for free just to get a crack at a job.

No one is going to be lining up to work at an accounting firm for free.

They have a contract with a manufacturer and the sticks are pretty decent- also, its tough to have them signed without magic pixie dust because the players are just showing up from all over the globe.

I'd figure they will get these done in the next month and send out in time for Easter.

My guess is they make a base of $37,440.

$25k would be way too low. That's $12/hr. I made $12.50 an hour when I was in college pumping gas about an hour or so outside of Boston.

I bet they will be o the printer within 24 hours of the schedule coming out and sent to us with one day shipping. Plenty of time to get here before the season starts.

Clearly you pulled this out of your ass. Don't you realize paralegals make 25k a year in Boston?

So as you can CLEARLY see, there's no way a sales rep makes anymore than 20-25k/year. No need to second guess me either...my wife is also a corporate recruiter in Boston. This CLEARLY makes me well informed and justified to act like a complete dick...I'm not guessing.

What city is this??? Maybe in Canada. Boston is a completely different animal. The last few years salaries have fallen for doctors. My wife says Docs are making 25-28k in Boston...I'm not guessing.

Good on you for donating your time to those in need.

With the lockout and all, I'm sure all hockey fans are willing to pull together in these tough times to bring the sport back to it original glory. I would't be surprised if they get a few new reps to come work pro-bono. After all, It's all about the love of the game...money is really no object.

Everyone knows the median income in the greater Boston area for professionals is 20-22k. These people who expect to make 35k year are all living in the past. 20k is the new 60k.

Pay = 40k
Taxes = (8k)
Health Ins = (2k)
Avg Rent = (23k)

That leaves $7k or $135/wk for food, bills, spending money, clothes, basic necessities, retirement, etc. Anyone not making at least $40k working in Boston is in the wrong profession.

I don't wanna bust your bubble. Bu that schedule has been listed on stubhub since summer. The only changes they have made to it have been when the NHL has officially cancelled games. The last time they cancelled them was up to 1/15. Which is why it appears to be the opener.

Rumors are still pointing towards a 1/19 opener. But nothing is set yet.

then you cant forget food cost almost twice as much... As a student in boston this place is expensive.

Id imagine they make 50s. Its my experience its not an entry level position.

I doubt it's in the 50s. I would say high 30s to mid 40s to start.
