Thats a great point. Who's going to trust buying a printed copy on Causeway Street? I bet there will be some scams going on with photocopies

I've gotta think the number of scams will be up this year. Street scalper won't like it. But they'll still buy/sell em. I sold paper/e-tickets to the scalpers at least 3-4 times last year.

Re: no hard tickets for STH's this year

It likely will not make any difference. But I just wanted to encourage any and everyone who is pissed about not getting hard tickets to email or call your rep. That's what they are there for.

Sent this to mine...

Re: Important Information About Your 2012-13 Season Tickets

Hey Keith,

I'm guessing I'm not the only one a little disappointed with this. I'm a big fan of collecting and holding onto hard tickets of games I've been to. I have several different tickets framed in my sports room. I realize the quick start up this late in the hockey season poses problems for delivering tickets in a expedient manner. I'm just very disappointed this wasn't more well thought out. There were definitely other alternatives that would have made it possible to give STH's hard tickets for the majority of the season. Given the lockout, I'd expect things to be added to our benefits...not taken away.

I realize you likely have nothing to do with the process. Just wanted to voice my displeasure with the decision to go this route. Other teams have found alternative options. Surely the B's could have as well.

Hope to see you you Sat night.

-Buddy

Is your rep keith ricci? I was planning on sending a not so happy email to him soon. But I haven't yet because I've sent him a few in the last few weeks...

And I know this isn't his fault and he's still a new-ish rep and can't imagine he will be able to help at all.

It sucks with no hard tickets because it'll be easier for the B's to target scalpers and warn them/take their tickets away if there are too many scams at the gate....this will be interesting this year

Make sure you have a good printer. Blurry barcodes won't scan and you'll have to make the trip downstairs to the box office.

Hey everyone, Ranger fan here. I'm going up to Boston with my brother for the opener, and I need tickets. I know they go on sale on Wednesday, but I was wondering if any of you guys are selling your tickets for that game.

If so, please just let me know what section and how much your asking for. Thanks. (You can either reply here (I'll check back often), or just private message me)

EDIT: Tickets have been purchased.

I want them to pay for my printer cartridge... which is more than the $15. Or they should set up kiosks where we can print the tickets at the arena before games, and future games too.

By the time you get through the line the game will be over.

Someone asked what happens if you do not have a printer. Would be interesting to find out. And what if you have a printer malfunction or you do not realize that you are low on or out of ink (both have happend to me) when you are trying to print your tickets at the last minute?

Yes I am happy to have hockey back. No the lockout has not changed Standard Operating Procedure for JJ and company.

Went to the scrimmage today. Free hot dogs, popcorn and medium soda. Everything else was regular price.

Felt bad for the concession workers-- busted their chops and most people weren't tipping.

That's pretty bad. Even if stuff is 'free' people should tip.

Even if the food is free they still get paid. From what I understand they get a full wage not like a waiter.

They make most of their money on tips. Also, they are unionized. Never knew that.

They make a percentage of their sales, no hourly pay. So if everything is free, if you don't tip they aren't making anything, unless JJ made special provisions for this situation. Tip them well all season, because without tips they aren't making much of anything. All they have had this year is Celtics, and from what those that work there tell me, Celtics fans don't tip we'll. They make half as much at best for a Celtics game compared to a Bruins game.

Have a few friends that work there and they all say Bruins games are the money makers
