Why was he playing Junior B in his draft year? (Léveillé)

Send a message via MSN to Rise from the Ashes
Its simple: depth is good. With an NHL lockout the Habs brass can focus their attention on the farm all year. Even more noticeable is the fact that the Habs are picking up every local boy with potential.

Where did you saw this?

I tweeted your info and a guy called Earl Zukerman (Longtime sports info officer at McGill University, according to his bio) told me that it was false.

Does Leveille have any potential (being a 2008 first rounder) or is he already considered a complete bust?

Having three more Center's in competition will add depth and a little bit of experience to a very young Bulldog team.No NHL contracts added is also a bonus, while giving the Hamilton team some more AHL level players for the rookies to fight for a job.The coaches shouldn't have to concentrate on motivation for the forward players and the defencemen aren't a concern in that regard.
