Today's game, that's a 5. A few years ago, that's probably a 2.

Oh same here! I hope he gets another shot next year for the Wild.. Hoping that Lapanta doesn't get an extension.

I remember the 1st time I heard Dan Kelly call a gopher game on BTN.. I thought it was Gus Johnson for a while. I knew it couldn't be him because he's strictly football and basketball but the way they call the games and their voices are fairly similar. Ever since then, I've been a big fan of his.

I have no problem with it being a 5 because it's better to error on the side of caution. Live I thought it worthy of a 5 but seeing a replay I'm more inclined to say it was a 2 Talking with a few of the players last night it sounded like they felt the same and were more excited facing adversity and about their PP performance.

Either way it's a very stupid by Currier to go in for the kill shot when Budish is tied up and UAA is leading by one.

This, just a stupid move on his part. Isn't whether it's a 2 or 5 not even at the ref's discretion though? I was under the impression that if it's a check from behind into the boards it's an automatic 5.

Rau with two goals for the Gophers through 2. The second being a beauty.

Bjugstad absolutely demolished Anchorage's goalie after deking him out of his breezers.

Poor Gunderson. His defense is just hanging him out to dry tonight, not that he's been very good either though.

What's the likelihood of next weekends games selling out?

Minnesota looking the part of a #1 team in the nation that was missing the first half of the season. I was at last nights game and that was a CLEAR 5 minute major and just a stupid, stupid decision by the UAA player that cost his team the game. Exciting finish but the Gophers were lucky last night. Tonight, no such luck required, team came ready and won like the best team in college hockey should. CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Balls... the Sconnies score with 6.2 seconds left in OT.

MSU needs to do some work with their PP. Had plenty of chances and was pretty useless. The Badgers PK deserves some credit too, but the Mavs couldn't generate nearly enough decent scoring chances.

Wisconsin had not won an OT road game in league play since 2006. It feels good to get two in one weekend

Sat next to Kent Patterson on the plane back from Denver today. Didn't want to be creepy, so I left him alone.

He gave him many GIFs in the form of peanuts, biscotti, 6 oz of soda and a crisper copy of Skymall.
