Badgers are up 6-1 now on UNO. Season high in goals for Wisconsin.

There could possibly be a 5 way tie for first place after next weekend. How crazy would that be?

Yeah we laid an egg. Still we are the only team that controls our own destiny. No faith lost from this fan.

I don't see anyway SCSU walks into UW and sweeps all 4 points. But I don't see any reason UND is walking into Mankato or UMN walking into Bemidji and sweeping either.

Kid you not - the Gophers' pregame video last night featured Pitbull's "Don't Stop the Party."

I figured that would be brought up. They've had a really tough time sweeping teams this year but I think this weekend will be different. They're clearly the better team and they know what's at stake in this series. I'm not going to guarantee that they'll sweep but I like their chances A LOT more than SCSU and UND.

Bemidji is not a good team, but they play a tough disciplined game.

The WCHA is more even this year than in other years, and 4 point weekends are tough to come by. This weekend will be interesting.

Gophers haven't shown the consistency to sweep anyone since January and more disturbingly they haven't shown the consistency necessary to win in the postseason. Talent is there to win it all no doubt, but I'm utterly disgusted by the lack of consistency with this team right now.

That aside, should be a truly awesome weekend in the WCHA, what a way to go out for the conference!

Bjugstad gives Minnesota a 2-1 lead while St. Cloud State just tied things up at Wisconsin.

Wow. St. Cloud State LOVES to flop and dive all over the place.
Edit: Of course the refs don't call it

Minnesota is tied with Bemidji after 40. St. Cloud State just took a 3-2 lead while North Dakota and Mankato are tied at 2 as well.

Watching this Minn / BSU game makes me think..... are most NHL tv viewing angles way too high? IMO this is the perfect angle. The players actually look big, you can see the dekes really good, etc. I wish NHL games could be at this angle / distance

With SCSU's win they vault up to 4 in the Pairwise. Badgers move up 4 spots to a 16th place tie in the Pairwise. That makes this loss sting less. Congrats Rabid Husky and SCSU.

That last penalty was ridiculous. Jumps in the air and spins around on a hook.
