What happened to all that Gopher firepower?

Oh, and **** the Gophers

Looks like they don't have anything to do anymore either.

Any other posts I need to parody?

Got the OSU/ND game on before the Wild game. Tied 1-1. Lucia had the turnover in the offensive zone that led to OSU's goal.

Disappointing effort but all will be forgiven if they can string off 4 wins in a row.

Lucia just had a very nice move in between the circles to get a scoring chance but unfortunately was able to get it by the goalie.

3-1 Badgers late in the second period, Kerdiles with the goal. On the CC goal the play before a CC player wiped out Rumpel and I thought it should have been a penalty. Thoughts?

My dad and I were talking about it while at the game today and we were both wondering if the likes of Heatley, Suter, and Gilbert are at the game tonight and if they're by themselves or if they're renting a suite and bringing family too? We also thought maybe Pavelski would be there assuming San Jose doesn't leave right away.

But they both suck at hockey.
Let the flame war begin?

How do you even know if it's the most boring WCHA title game if you aren't even watching? It was intense towards the end right up until the CC penalty with 9 seconds left.

Did you even watch the FInal 5 games?

WIsconsin and Colorado College clearly deserved to be in the final by their play.(sure SCSU, MINN and ND had better regular seasons, but they didn't step up when needed this weekend. The Gophers of all the teams looked the worst. Sloppy, uninspired play.

Saying a game is boring because your favorite team isn't in it, just makes you look ignorant. Like all the Eddy/Vanny fans saying the Wild play boring hockey.

CONGRATS to the WISCONSIN BADGERS for a great Broadmoor Trophy win!

Very true. The Barnes-Zengerle-Kerdiles line is amazing.

I believe Heatley and Gilbert were there on Thursday and/or Friday. They showed them in a suite.

They definitely showed them during the Thursday game against Mankato.

On the basis of play clearly the final two should have been there. It's just a shame there weren't really fans of either team there for the weekend. Most of the CC people were transplant Minnesotans, who moved out there, because that's essentially "our" version of California and Wisconsin just really didn't show for such a big school.

Wisconsin came in hot, and won the whole thing like I figured they had a shot at doing, and once CC beat NoDak, I thought the Gophs would choke and lose the next day and was proven right. Despite my friend thinking I was just being the typical pessimistic Minnesota sports fan I am in most situations I was spot on (also per usual, especially when it comes to our teams tanking).

I guess overall, I thought Mankato wouldn't be obliterated like they were, and I expected a bit better from St. Cloud State, though I almost feel those first round games gave them the leg up in some scenarios (it certainly did with Howe, who was brimming with confidence in net for CC).

Went to the Wild game today though and that boosted my spirits. 6 games in 3 days....on the 4th day they rested.

Amanda Kessel I must admit looked a tad sexy at her award ceremony the other day.

What channel are the Gopher women on any way for their title?
