Went with Andronov, but I suspect Ponich wins this one. Add Mark Cundari. He's a bit undersized but plays a good physical two-way game. He deserves to be on that list.

Tough decision between Veilleux and Tesink for me. I think both have good shots of being solid bottom-6 NHLers. I think both will have big years in their final year in the Q. I'll give the slight edge to Veilleux for now.

I've liked what(little) I've seen from Veilleux. I'll go with him.

Went Tesink, but Veilleux would also be a fine choice. Tesink needs to add weight and Veilleux needs to improve his skating, both are a ways off.

Surprised at the tumble Ponich has taken, hes not the first player to stumble his first pro season. Not saying its wrong, but he has always been a long term project, he wasnt going to come in and dominate the AHL.

MacEachern is still way off the map as well. A bit surprised Beach doesnt have any votes, he might be the safest bet to reach the NHL with his pugilist abilities.

I'm not sure who Ponich has lost favor with. He is in the top 9 on the Blues site. He was even in +/-. Faired much better than Ryan Reaves with Brandon Bollig with the gloves off. (worth watching) His role just doesn't appeal as much to the HF voters I guess. He's got my vote. Hope he is a bottom 6 or 7 guy that gives us the Matt Walker type player. (hopefully with a little more ability.)

This is a very tough call between Ponich, Villieux and Tesink. Ponich should be a tough defender in his own zone, but will provide almost no offence. But, Tesink may be a good, two-way player. But, I'll give the very slight edge to Villieux, who has a very strong offensive upside. I haven't seen Andronov play. But he is probably in the race with those other three.

Beach probably gets my vote after Veilleux and Tesink. I'll be interested to see how he adapts to the pro game this year.

I see a lot of fresh fish on the list but I think we're overlooking some other guys. I think Lundstrom and Della Rovere should be added. Karpowich and Eronen too. Those 4 would probably be in my top 20 or so.

Beach is really interesting. He put up a lot of points for a "tough" guy. He is really skinny, but tall. Not sure how his package of skills will play at the next level. Looking forward to finding out.

I think we have pretty deep list looking at all of these players, good job by the scouting crew of the Blues

I was glancing over the links for player stats that were just posted, and I didn't realize how small Tesink is. 6'0" 166 this year compared to 5'11" 157 his draft year. He sounds like a trooper of a player by the scouting reports. I hope he can find his inner Doug Gilmour. Does he have the build to put on additional weight?

I think you nailed it, his role just doesn't have that appeal for some, but he should be a fine defensive defenseman some day.

If he finishes at 6' 185 or 190, that won't be bad.

Prospect #12 Jori Lehterä currently leading the whole KHL with 12p in 6gp. U seem to have 11 prospects better than the best in KHL!

Relatively few of us have faith in him (that he'll come over), so down he goes in the prospect rankings.

Hey bluesfan94!!

Let's keep the prospect rankings going. Nothing better to do and we have rarely (never?) ranked past the 15th or 16th prospect.

Really? I thought I dug up the polls from last year. I guess I didn't dig nearly deep enough.
43 is impressive!

Agree. We still have Tesink, Andronov, etc. to fit in the Top 20!

Sorry y'all, I've been somewhat busy with school and the lockout and all that jazz. I figure we go until we can't go any further and run out of prospects!
