Roster U17
Roster U18

Game 1:
03:26 1-0 (EQ) U18 17. Nylander Altelius, William
19:17 2-0 (EQ) U18 14. Kempe, Adrian (Johansson, Emil)
21:26 3-0 (EQ) U18 10. Forsbacka-Karlsson, Jakob (Lagesson, William, Timashov, Dmytro)
26:06 4-0 (SH1) U18 10. Forsbacka-Karlsson, Jakob

I really like this idea but I question the timing. I guess they're doing a lot of off-ice work in these "camps".

Timashov was really impressive in the second game, didn't look terribly small either.

Only watched small bits but liked Rasmus Asplund's game. Really advanced for his age, good skater and willing to drive the net. Reminds me a little bit of Anton Karlsson actually.

Oskar Lindblom can be a top10 pick imo, he's that good.

So it's a Canadian team mostly with U20/U21 Junior A players and some CHL experience. Not too bad, you'd probably expect closer scores with the age difference in mind.

This kid Fredrik Olofsson is pretty good. playmaker with some size.

I hope he's eligible?

U18 wins the last game 5-4. Rasmus Asplund scored 6+5 in 7 games, best scorer on his team by far. The U17 team seems to be like the 95-group, lead by 4-5 guys with very little secondary scoring. The 18 team looks much deeper and better although they should win these games against the younger guys and a less talented Canadian team.

Anyone want to take a stab at a possible Hlinka lineup?

Nylander-Franzen-Lindblom
A.Karlsson-Bagenda-Kempe
Törnqvist-Forsbacka-Olofsson
Engvall-Holmström-Elgestål
Kovacs

Aho-Andersson
Johansson-Pettersson
Lagesson-Englund
Ollas Matsson

Eriksson
Söderström

Edit: Forgot names like Filip Karlsson, Timashov..

I'll make an attempt with the forwards:

Kempe - F.Karlsson - Lindblom
Nylander - Franzen - A.Karlsson
Bagenda - Forsbacka - Timashov
Olofsson - Holmström - Törnqvist
Kovacs

Some really good players are being left off this team, the pool of players to choose from is pretty big this year. Underagers are not very common at the Hlinka, the only forward I think could make it is Rasmus Asplund. Oliver Kylington could be one of the D's selected.
