College highlights are way too hard to find so I'll stick with CHL highlights unless I can find other highlights.
Nice goal by Yuen... I still can't believe that he's QBing the PP and has that solid of shot (for junior) and skating (for any level) and yet that was his first non-emptynet goal

That was nice by Yuen. I see Scheifele was pretty much in his office for that first goal...
Also, Trouba -3 and Serville -1 tonight. Trouba has another checking to the head penalty.
Sutter scored
Having not seen the hit, I'm not going to comment too much but Trouba's going to have watch his aggression as he might be starting to get a bit a repitation as a head hitter which may influence officials. The last thing we want to see is him in and out of the lineup due to suspension. Having said all this you just have to love the kids physicality.
I will say that was a very rough game for Trouba but that is all part of the growth process of a young prospect. michagan looked terrible and their lack of structure defensively is concerning. That hit did not look that bad to me but oh well......there goes another game suspension or is it 2 he gets for 2nd offense.
I agree with the commentator, he's getting singled out now. Reminds me of my days in peewee hockey at 6'1 lol. I would smash kids and get a penalty because it was 'too much'.
If that's all it was, keep playing that way Mr. Trouba.
At what point does the selection of Scheif become a GREAT draft pick. Not many scouts were metioning him at the draft and most people thought the pick was way off the board. At what point does it become a brilliant pick and who deserves the credit, ATL scouts or Chevy. Someone will look good as a scout when this is all said and done.

I don't think it officially crosses the "great draft pick" line until we see at least a few seasons of his NHL career. That said, at this stage of the game I continue to be thrilled. I think he's an awesome kid, and I think he's going to be a great pro and a big part of what the Jets build here, on- and off-the-ice. So much fun to watch him come into his own this year.

He was off the board but it's not like he was expected to go 2nd or 3rd. It's just nobody had him in the top 10. Give him a few years for great draft pick status but I bet he gets there. Gotta love players with skill and a great work ethic.

Same thing happened to my brother
Big loud (legal) hits and would get tossed from games

Haha I have learned to 'punish quieter', and my PIM'S have plummeted. A little butt end in the ribs in front of the net is a great deterrent and makes no sound (other than an opponents howls)

Also if you're standing behind someone in front of the net, cross check their lower back downward. It's quite painful and isn't a penalty haha.
I also like to take the blade of my stick and push on the back of a guys knee. Buckles like he has been shot.
I saw Byfuglien do that to a guy with the butt end of his stick at the end of a period and I couldn't stop laughing. The other guy was seriously pissed and Buff just had a **** eating grin on. I loved it.
Not a fan of that call against Trouba at all. Would have preferred if he'd instead gone the CHL route, honestly.
Yeah, if this nonsense of being singled out or "targeted" for physical play continues, it could hamper his development some. He'll have to be less physical and concentrate more on positional play and honing his offensive game. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but you don't want him losing his appetite for destruction either.
With his obvious love of hitting, I wonder at what point he starts to regret not giving some serious consideration to joining the Kitchener Rangers who I believe hold his CHL rights.
