Good gawd, he is absolutely crushing the league and that's not an easy league to score in. It was a natural hat trick in a 4-2 win. Most teams don't even have a guy with 10 goals yet. Logan Couture only has 7 goals on the best team in the league.

Last year, the league leader had 27 goals in 49 games -- Seguin is at almost double that clip.

I'm starting to feel like Bruins fans are missing out on a special season because of the lockout.

It does suck, but just remember, he's only 20.

By the way, who assisted him on those 3?

Can't wait for hockey to start, and something tells me we'll have it by Christmas

Yeah, he is only 20...

At the least this is a huge confidence booster. Can't wait to see him in a spoked B again, hopefully soon... I'm just so glad we have him for 7 more years. 5.75 could be an absolute steal at his pace.

Expecting a huge year/half of a year for the Marchand-Bergeron-Seguin line. Not to mention the return of Horton and hopefully a motivated Lucic with the huge paycheck he just got...

1 unassisted
2 assists to Micflikier and 2 to guys I don't recognize.

He has mostly done everything without any NHL talent. Kane has only played a few games and from what I've seen they mostly only play together on the power play.

You know, I'm sure in Biel they will talk about this season for years to come (you know, the "do you you remember when Seguin played here?"-stuff). He (rightfully) reached a god-like status. Let them enjoy this another bit. You'll have him for years to come.

More than 1300 Biel fans made the trip to Bern, incredible atmosphere by the Biel fans in Bern and a huge win for Biel. I love it!

So torn, my only valid response right now would to be grab a hockey stick and run as fast as I can into the nearest tree.

That act would encapsulate the emotion grumble grumble grumble

Adda Boy!!! On a side note to an earlier post, I hope the lockout ends only after the Christmas break, got plans to spend it in Davos for the Spengler Cup....After the junior tournament, Davos is the best city in the world in which to spend a Christmas and watch some hockey...

EHC Biel is losing 4-2 ATM, but Seguin added another goal to make it 20 in 20.

That one goal sure looked Stamkos-esque, didn't it?

The flames on the helmet are hilarious Don't mind seeing him with the top scorer jersey and helmet, hopefully if/when the NHL is back he can bring some of this swagger and confidence here. Kid looks great

Absolutely. That's one of the shots that I was hoping he would develop. I think we have seen him utilize it a handful of times, but not consistently, and not always with the desired result. It will really help our power play if that one-timer becomes a part of his offensive arsenal.

No way to know. A fairly typical salary in the NLA would be something like 200k.

The team is probably providing him with accommodations, food and a car/driver. But after the insurance premium on his new contract comes out of his salary I'd be surprised if he's making much at all.

Very few of the NHLers in Europe are actually making any money relative to what they make in NHL. Anyone with a largish NHL contract is probably spending the vast majority of his salary on insurance. The lower end guys that are FAs or on short term contracts under 1M per season are, for the most part, playing in lower leagues and making, maybe, two or three grand per week.

Hey guys !

i am not fan of the Bruins, nor of HC Biel or Seguin particularly. (nor an enemy ... i respect good hockey ... and Chara and Thomas!)

But i must say that the guy is a beast among the beasts !!
Here he plays in a very average team (pardon aux confrères Romands) and ... he's, in my view, the best NHL player in Switzerland !!
The one that yields the most.

hats down to him
a 2cts tip i give you : keep him

You should see them in their sport car with the flames sponsored by postfinance.

i found no picture but i saw once one, and the effect was beyond the helmet !!
the guy is finished. The windows were smoked (smart move). I guess they must prefere to use public transports

Sportsnet had an update on Seguin today:

It is awfully hard to miss Tyler Seguin these days.

Not only is the locked-out NHL forward tearing up the Swiss hockey league, he's doing it in style. Seguin stands out among his EHC Biel teammates on the ice because of the bright yellow helmet he wears -- an honour bestowed on the top-scoring player for each team in Switzerland.

The 20-year-old has been an offensive force with 20 goals in 20 games, making him the most productive NHLer plying his trade in a league that includes Jason Spezza, Joe Thornton, Rick Nash, John Tavares and Logan Couture, among others.

In fact, Seguin has even managed to exceed his own expectations so far.

"I had no idea what to expect when I came to Switzerland," he told the Tages-Anzeiger newspaper recently. "The league is very competitive -- the speed and the talent level of the players has surprised me. It took me some time and effort to get used to it.

"Scoring goals is never easy; I didn't do very well at the beginning. Now I just hope to continue playing well like I have been lately."
